Yes, it's that wonderful time of the year here in Scotland, when the kids have just gone back to School and all of the Back-To-School photos have been flooding the social media sites...

Now, I've been good... I haven't shared ANY so far, but.... damnit! Here are my boys - just turned 13 and 17 in the last couple of weeks. The big one is taller than me now.... Don't tell him I admitted to that!! LOL

So, I'm in the woods today in Europe.

Other people are nearby, but far enough away that they are heard and not seen. Me, I'm just admiring the view of the forest on an autumn day with fine weather. "Golden October", as the Germans say.

And then I heard this noise; the noise was like that made by a cat when they blow air to indicate displeasure. And it is loud enough to sound like it came from within a couple of feet from me.

So I looked all around me and even up the tree trunks.

-Nothing-, nada.

Spent a couple of minutes there, but found nothing.

Middling weird.
