Anyone Following the Kellogg’s Story

I didn’t even realize anything was amiss until I was going to make rice crispy bars and they were nowhere to be seen.
I checked several stores, all empty.

Here’s the lowdown.

The Kelloggs workers union went on strike. There were workers from several plants.
The company was like screw you and tried to replace them all.
People from Reddit got ahold of the story and flooded their job site with thousands of applications and crashed it.

Now Biden chimed in and said it’s disturbing they are trying to replace their workers.

I remember when Twinkies were nearly made extinct by a worker strike. They successfully put their own company out of business.

I remember a thread I posted a few years back with a video of disgruntled workers pissing in vats of Rice Krispies at the factory.

My dad told me if I saw how any food was processed I wouldn’t eat any of it. I think was right.

There is no generic equivalent? Kind of surprised by that.

When I first came to where I now am, one could not buy regular Cheerios (only the 'honey' coated version) at the food stores. I got desperate and looked up recipes. Yes, there are recipes to make your own Cheerios, LOL.

You may have to get creative JAG.

If I remember correctly there was a similar video of a disgruntled Kelloggs worker pissing in the corn flakes that made the rounds some years ago. I believe it was a plant in Nebraska.

We did find Coco Krispies. They were good but just not the same.
It is not something I make very often, maybe one a year or once every two years.

Reddit users on the subreddit r/antiwork banded together to spam Kellogg Company with fake applications after the company announced it would be hiring permanent replacements to fill the positions left by striking workers with the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union.

I haven't eaten cereal in years.

The closest I come is Chex Mix at the holidays.

I've been following it, as it is BS they are trying to replace the workers.

I saw something yesterday that a bunch of people were crashing their server by submitting hundreds of fake job applications, and a couple people went as far as to create bots that would submit application after application at a rapid rate.
