The administration has been “briefing major newsrooms over the past week” while “discussing with newsrooms trends pertaining to job creation, economic growth, supply chains, and more,” CNN reports, citing an anonymous source.
The administration has argued that “the country’s economy is in much better shape than it was last year.” CNN reported the conversations have “been productive, with anchors and reporters and producers getting to talk with the officials.”

What anonymous source? CNN was there. They make it sound like they are not in on this.

What a crock. It would be nice to know what those conversations were about. Real journalists would be ashamed over this.

Well be pissed off then. It's common knowledge that Trump met up with Rupert Murdoch prior to his battle with Hillary Clinton for the 2016 presidency. You think Rupert Murdoch doesn't know how to spin a few lies!
Or is it just ok for right wing media to spread BS?
LOL
The White House has been secretly begging news organizations to give “favorable” coverage to President Biden rather than focusing on his failings, according to a report.
The administration is “not happy” with the unflattering headlines and coverage of the supply-chain disaster and handling of the economy — and so “has been working behind the scenes trying to reshape coverage in its favor,” CNN’s Reliable Sources said.
Senior White House and administration officials “have been briefing major newsrooms over the past week,” a source told the outlet’s media reporter Oliver Darcy......
...In it, he pointed to data analysis reportedly showing that “Biden’s press for the past four months has been as bad as — and for a time worse than — the coverage Trump received for the same four months of 2020.”....

Soo the white house wants the media outlets to start lying to the people on how good Biden for the economy is, wow, because is been too negative since the white house honeymoon is over.
Soo I guess not more bad ratings on Biden and his lousy administration.
