As I said above, torture does have a certain bloody appeal to it.

But torture marks the torturer just as much as the torturee. Under certain circumstances, many of us might be willing to bear that cross.

Doesn't change the fact that it won't bring the little boy back, nor will it teach those monsters anything.

It's a hard and upsetting read.

These two subjected their beautiful little boy to unimaginable abuse and neglect culminating in his murder although the father was convicted of manslaughter.

It's a harrowing case.

I can't imagine how people are capable of this.

It's purest evil.

Hope they get a nice reception in Prison and that they get the full "nonce" treatment.

It's not as bad as the global slaughter occurring now, but ok.

Can you please leave it out?

Have you no soul?

Don't worry. There will be a lot of fellow inmates queing up to teach them the errors of their ways.

And for one under the radar, two or three get wrongly harassed. There is a case going on in Missouri right now over corruption in our system.

The 'under the radar' ones are the majority of what these government agencies do.

Under privacy and sub-judice laws, most of these cases have to be under the radar.

Think about it rationally, news stories usually don't come from these agencies, they are from the very people trying to oppose these agencies, and so will always represent themselves as being the wronged party.

Sometimes the agencies are in the wrong. Most times, however, they just aren't.

You'd think so, wouldn't you?

But, at least here in the States, most of these sorts of criminals are not in the general population. They're placed in protective custody. Not so much for their protection, but for the protection of the prison staff, as they'd be forced by their job descriptions to intervene to stop whatever might happen.

I know what happens in prisons over here. Trust me on that.

The lifers have nothing to lose. Stuff happens.

My grandson is 5-years old. I can’t imagine anything similar happening to him. Very sad.
