Unusual nationwide internet outage, Australia

For just over the past hour, all our internet services are having severe outages.

This is the national broadband outage map, Ted is the areas that are affected.

Though look at all the red spots it’s not isolated, cause someone cut a cable, the redundancies all appear to be affected.

I have excellent current speeds to my regular connections inside Australia, from U.S., but see the wall of outage reports.

There are zero reports of this incident on my regular I.T. forums, which is weird as they are usually on top of everything.

Also zero reports in U.S. media, but that isn't unusual.

Funny, i can easily reach Australian sites from here that local Australians have repeatedly reported as being down.

I guess that's one way to clamp down on protests.

What if... Global internet outage, oh noes, chaos, panic, hysteria. Not really, everyone who's fed up with this bull# will go outside, meet up and collectively rant over everything covid related while marching in the streets setting fire to certain government buildings.
