$33,5 Billion doesn't sound too shabby, and that's just a single corporation in the Big Pharma fragment of the overall revenues we're looking at.

The myopia and vampiric exploitation of poorer countries by capitalist imperialism is squarely to blame for the emergence of Omicron.

The same exploitation took place within the richer nations, my people in the groceries/ hospitals/ public transport still have to fight for #ing scraps. Hence striketober and all that jazz, it's not very different on this side of the pond.

However. All constructivism aside, may I ask which reality we are supposed to come down to? Are we normalizing broken social contracts and straight up barbarism for mere profits and influence now? That's what 'they' do, innit?

Asking for a friend and the kid. Don't ruin it.

Reality is that we have to deal with the conditions and environments we are thrown into.
If you want to give a Marxinian twist on the matter, what is happening right now furthers the efforts of the working class, and furthers the mass frustration of the alienated, who have abruptly been given a glimpse into the fracturing capitalist grip on the planet.

At the end of the day, this is what we have to deal with, right now.
The main issue with beyond - orthodox Marxists and hardcore lefties is they seem to have the future all figured out, and are in this constant attempt to fabricate a 'revolution' against the capitalists. You can't fabricate a revolution, and you can't predict the future, and if you could these capitalists have already been a few steps ahead of you.

This virus is a plague on us all, and we have tried all sorts of actions and reactions to battle it, and unfortunately it will involve large massive corporate collaboration. The real fight is noticing how they fill in between the lines to gain more power, not what the free market demands them to do, that's what the working class needs to focus on is keeping them on their toes so they don't take a disaster and turn it in their favor.

Why not. You'll have to look up their vaccination program yourself now.

Spoiler: it's pretty good thus far, no patents involved whatsoever.

Sooooo.....

We trust the Chinese govt now?

There are 5 billion people on the planet and you are looking at 10 billion doses of vaccine ... no, 15 billion by now. More if you want to listen to some who think we're looking at boosters every 6 months for an untold length of time, maybe forever.

How long do you think these things should be produced gratis for every single human being here?

And how do you finance all that?

Understand, you are talking about vast costs all up and down the supply chain whether or not the entire thing was nationalized/globalized or not.

It's a wonderful thought, but not very practical, not even if we attempt to make it "free".

The logistics alone is a massive undertaking. Even if all the world leaders got together and held the CEO's at gun point, it would take years to gets shots in every persons arm on the planet.

We are in a very frustrating situation as a world population right now. I guess we can now understand why some nations opted to just completely shut themselves off to the world completely.

You guys can have both mine and my wife’s share of the vaccine and all of the required boosters. Have a nice day and remember, your wee wee may fall off.

Jesus said the poor will always be with you, but we will also always have to understand that if we make ourselves poor trying to save the poor, then all of us need saving and there is no one left to do it, who can do it. This is part of the issue with command economies. They attempt to produce a needs based amount to cover everyone, and it never breaks even and often disastrously breaks down.

Generally speaking, by caring for yourself first, you make sure you can care for others later, and I am in no way condemning any nation that follows that approach. Look at what this has done to us, we're barely functioning on a few cylinders currently as it is. But we're being chided for not taking care of the rest of the world.

So, in your Marxist fantasy land, the communist party in China didn't just unleash this new hell on the planet, with assistance from the first almost openly Marxist president of the U.S..

And the free countries of the world didn't just accomplish a minor miracle in developing this experimental 'vaccine' to help undo what the commies have done?

In your fantasy land, capitalism is somehow the problem?

Must be a pretty wild place.

Do you have a pet unicorn?

Well put, but I will also point out the burden of being a leader has many duties, wake before everyone, work more than everyone, give away more than everyone, and love everyone. Leadership isn't built, it's thrust upon those who are willing to accept everyone. I sometimes feel like the world has too many leaders who are all at each others throats lately...

Cute that you think joe has 'duties'.

Or was that a spelling error?

Joe Biden?

The man who has been the angel of death for the neo - liberal death march since the fall of the Berlin wall?

In a weird way, his 'duties' were and still are being fulfilled. Making a mockery of us all.

Even the leader has to care for him or herself in order to maintain that strength and hold up that burden. You know, if you're being honest, that the US is the font of charity. It's just that most of it is privately given and not given by the state.

It isn't that the US is a stingy country. It's that this situation is different because we've been told it is.

In the ideal situation those who benefit from the leader will give back, and most times the favor is returned.

Now can we start to paint the picture of what happens when the leader becomes toxic? What do you think happens when the many are abused by their accepted leader?

It's a relationship, right?

I don't understand this jibberish, but looks like it was meant to be some kind of humor attempt?

You can't fabricate a revolution

Who said I'd have to? I say give 'them' more rope! There waits a renaissance for us once we've managed to survive the plagues, eventually.

I'd leave out the first syllable and internationalize the whole bunch, transforming them into worker coops. And it doesn't end there, with this other elephant in the room; climate change. Great strategic advise there, too. Always a pleasure!

However, you're not wrong. To some degree we certainly all have been radicalized during the recent years, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. Think radix (lat.), aka the roots.

Here's Joe Biden lying through his teeth about not being involved in dumping depleted uranium on Yugoslavia, via NATO

And here's an article displaying him literally apologizing for NATO's actions.

ottawacitizen.com... 99-war

He was very involved back then, in NATO affairs especially.
