You are clever enough and wise enough moy malen'kiy putin to know that neither the American or Russian or even Chinese governments have even the remotest desire to enter into nuclear war.
We have lived with the threat of M.A.D. for decades now.
Any nuclear conflict between these countries would more or less wipe the human race off the face of the earth.

This is propaganda for the masses.
Its dick measuring.

A few skirmishes here and there?
Maybe.

The odd conventional proxy war?
Possibly.

We'll still be chewing the fat for a while longer yet.

I suggest we let the politicians play their predictable childish games of one-upmanship whilst we concentrate on important things like raising a glass or two to each others well being and telling each other stories.

this is something you need not ever worry about. If it was to happen (super unlikely) most of us would die in a flash. Quick and easy. But since MAD is real and well understood, nobody would be crazy enough to pinch that monkey's balls. It would just kill everyone and destroy everything. It's a no win situation. Make sure you are good with your spiritual side, be a good person, and ignore the saber rattling.

Them bombs and missiles are some real expensive ornaments.

We would glass most of your major cites and infrastructure in return of course but that's really a game nobody wants to play if we are honest.

Its not something any of us would recover from at least for the next few thousand years.

In Russia, the Communist Party is in opposition. In elections, it gains 17-20% and practically does not influence politics. I do not like communism, it brought a lot of grief to my country. I am a super conservative, monarchist, supporter of the Russian autocracy. Therefore, I do not like the political system in China. But this is the choice of the Chinese, and I respect that choice.
