How the News Media follows a script.

I have not even watched all of this yet, but TylerZed is always a good watch.... but this intro left me dumbstruck.

I've seen things like this before, but wow... If you want to know who is in control? It's who writes the MSM narrative.

The darkness that controls everything. Think about it... Think about it...

All major and many minor "news" outlets subscribe to wire services that feed thousands of outlets. AP is one I believe. It's painfully obvious they all work on common narratives and those catered to parties or groups they're looking to manipulate.

If you're interested in controlling the masses, print is dead, talking heads and social manipulation is where it's at and why they don't want a thousand thriving independent anything, they want easy control and that comes by keeping it the hands of just a few that are under their thumb.

Hell they've managed to coordinate playing commercials at the same time to discourage channel skipping which is why I only watch their garbage online commercial free or not at all.

The left had this covered years ago.

Before the 1990s, their take on the mass media was that it was an extension of the dominant state ideology. A lot of their thinking was based on Louis Althusser's work back in the 1940s and, as usual, it took them a long time to realise the world had moved on.

After the 1990s, it was closer to Chomsky's idea of manufacturing consent. The media operates within a reasonably free market and will do what it can to capture audiences while staying clear of regulatory threats. This is a pretty convincing model all around with a lot of room for creative interpretation: npbody is in charge but it follows the money; at times of stress, it will toe the government line. It's a lot more nuanced than the usual 2D conspiracy stuff.

It's not like Operation Mockingbird ever ended.....
