I got this one in my mailbox saying that the NZ government is sitting in Urgency to pass tighter laws, which is alarming many,They seem to be worried as the protest are around the same size as Australia, and if they lose power will be heading to a bad place. It's all about resources which the big Corporations have tied up with dirty deals, and they are frightened of losing it all in a revolution. The government is scared that they might get audited and held accountable. It will just get worse until it is stopped.

The hospitals are filling up with vaccine injured. Not all die and many do get discharged. But at some stage, they will cop it because they don't seem to realize that everyone knows the score. No we have had very few deaths from COVID-19, and few cases, for months, and now we are getting hundreds of cases and several deaths every week.

Other countries don't seem to care about their death toll, lost in the vastness of an impersonal and distant society, but we are smaller and any death is close to home.

Yesterday, I was reading a new report from International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance. They said that the U.S. is a backsliding democracy. I guess they can add New Zealand and Australia to the backsliding democracy list for next year's report.

One was a charge nurse who was outside the hospital, saying that last night they had a blackboard filled with patients and their symptoms she said to the Specialist, who looked at them and said what the hell was happening. The nurse went through the list ticking off clots myocarditis and breathing difficulties, all were side effects of the jab. The Doctor didnt have a clue. The nurse had declined the shot as it was deadline day and would rather walk simply because she didn't want to risk it. Anyone in their right mind would. But the government is getting more dicey as it wants the whole workforce jabbed.

And with only 40 COVID-19 deaths in total over 2 years, how is that going to stay the same when just this week we have had 6 deaths from COVID-19?

There are pressures to open the borders, I'd love to see my family in Aussie, but I wouldn't want people to die for the convenience. So there has to be a balance.

I'm not entirely sure the government here is doing the best thing possible in the situation, because no-one really knows, but we are watching and learning from past experience, and from what has happened overseas.

The 'freedom to not wear a mask' or other similar public outcry is rather pyrrhic if more people are going to die or have chronic health issues so that we can have such a dubious and rather silly 'freedom' in a time of epidemic.

Every epidemic and pandemic in the past has essentially burnt itself out over time, so the relaxing of restrictions IS going to happen. A lot of the protesters are acting as though the efforts to stop disease outbreak is going to be permanent. We have history to show the foolishness of that belief.

The pictures above are examples of Anti-Mask protesters, during the 1918 "Spanish Flu" pandemic (which actually originated on 11 March 1917 in Camp Funston, Kansas, USA). It killed an estimated 50 million people, but at the height of the pandemic, these people protested against wearing masks - stupid, eh!

New Zealand does not have any quarantine camps. It is using luxury hotels for quarantine.

The cases of Delta began before New Zealand started its push to get 90% of its population fully vaccinated. The fast rise of the epidemic spread, even in a couple of cases where people had not come closer than two meters, and had not touched common surfaces, happened before vaccination really started.

It is clear that they aren't the result of the vaccine (which in New Zealand, is only the Pfizer one, at the moment).

People and who gather for protest at super-spreader events and who oppose things that are in the interests of public health, and that are not excessive in any way, are themselves culpable for the disease and deaths they will cause.

If they opposed the government in a time of war in this way, and upheld the enemy, they would be traitors to their country.
