the fact is most people choose to "live with their own kind". people are self segregating, and always have been. be it the rich, choosing to live among other rich. or the self segregation by race/nationality. it is well known for example that most big cities have a "china town".a place where Chinese people and businesses choose to locate. and they don't want anyone else, even including other Chinese ethnic groups other then "their people". but they are nowhere near alone in this.

take the city of Toronto, a place known for being "multicultural". sure there are a lot of cultures, but they have historically all been living in their own separate "communities". when i was younger i lived in an Italian area". the only non Italians i knew in the area was us, and a Greek family. you couldn't even shop or do banking in the Area, unless you could speak Italian. and Toronto had areas known as "little Italy", "Greek Town", China town", "little India"etc. Polish areas, Portuguese areas, Jewish areas, etc. and now there are even Filipino areas, as o lot of them have moved there over the last few decades.. mostly places where their own "native languages tend" to be spoken in area businesses, and where you find businesses, especially grocery stores that are tailored to their native tastes, that carry hard to find products from their home countries. all because people have chosen to live among people with similar backgrounds, shared history, and language.

Don't you just love the way that the second someone does something like this their social media gets shut down.

Things like this should be archived as a public record. Maybe blur the faces on their pictures, but leave them up so that we can see who they are and how they lived in their own words.

Most places have the parade real early like in November for opening of SHOPPING SEASON. This is more hype to get people in the mood to spend spend spend.
