Have you not yet connected the dots? Trump's tacit endorsement of the NIH/NIAID and indulging their publicly criticized virology research a year and a half before the first reported outbreak? It's obvious that he was aware of the situation even before his inauguration and he could have exerted the appropriate leverage even without Fauci's help. Imagine how the world might have applauded his audacity and virtue by terminating the SARS experiments his first year in office. Could've should've would've but he didn't.
