Self Defense laws varies by state. Wisconsin has a very low bar to establish self defense. Also weapons law vary by state as well.

If anything is to be learned from this is just dont mess around with someone who has a weapon unless you are ready and willing to get hurt, injured or else.

Maybe. Maybe BLM-Antifa can try not rioting, raping, burning, looting and murdering? Maybe the police can actually stop the criminals. That way citizens won’t feel the need to take up arms to defend themselves and their homes & cities. That way there will be no shootings.

Although I do think he had a lapse of good judgement to go there in the first place, I am glad they found him not guilty. I guess the full evidence convinced those who were Jurors that he had the right to shoot those who were out to harm him. We are fed bias interpretations of the evidence, not the whole truth. I am glad that the truth was not twisted to make this kid have to spend time in prison for defending himself. He is the victim, not those he shot. If they would not have gone after him they would not have been shot.

Putting yourself in a situation where you may have to kill someone that attacks you is not wise, he went through hell for a while, and he will always have some people that want to go after him, people who have been led to believe he was the guilty party and those people will not accept the jury's verdict. Personally I would never even go to an event like that whether armed or not. He has to live with the fact he shot those people for the rest of his life.

But it was the fault of the people that attacked him, they were not that smart either, why was anyone there stirring up civil unrest? Our country is going to hell...some people like to stir up division, they are anarchists who want everyone riled up. It happens on both sides of the coin...it does not have to be that way, we must unite and stand against the anarchists who want us all arguing about sides.

If you are out in a car riding around for no reason and you get into an accident and someone dies....does it really matter who's fault it is...someone is dead. If you weren't out driving without a reason, your accident would not have happened, no matter who's fault it is it is not going to bring back the dead person. Throwing blame and suing people is not going to change that the person is dead, but it does give a lot of money to lawyers.

This whole thing did not have to happen if there was no people out there causing trouble. This kid thought he was out there to help stop bad things and he got dragged into the mess.

I hope that this will bring back some of the trust in the united states legal system that has been lost.

Pretty sure if these 3 individuals had not pursue Rittenhouse they will be alive today no matter how many rioting they had done.
