That's not our decision to make. That would be the judge.

Exactly. But the ATS paralegal crew thinks they know better.

More like "parrot legal" crew, IMHO.

When going up against evil you have to fight dirty.

Just make sure in your hurry to fight evil, you don't become what you're fighting.

Opinions. Everyone's got one.

Ultimately, isn't that what justice is? People's opinions on what is, or isn't, right.

Pretty clear 1 or 2 activists/bad faith jurors are holding up the rest of the jury.

I'm of the opinion that "Not Guilty" should not require a unanimous verdict. 11-1 or 10-2 should be fine. Specifically for cases such as this one. Guilty of course should require a unanimous decision.

That's how it works in the UK anyway, or it was when I studied Law at school.

This is just painful for all concerned.

You're jumping to conclusions.

Those one or two, or however many, may or may not be, "activists/bad faith". You don't know. You're not in the jury room.

I've been on a jury in a capital case, it's one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do--deciding the fate of a person.

All of us need to stop thinking we know what's going on in that room--and I'll include myself in that.

We may think we know how we'd vote...but maybe they heard or saw something we didn't. That's their job. As long as they do it in, as has been said, an honorable fashion. That's all we should ask of them.

What you said may be true. If they come after him, I'd like him to have the chance to protect himself. I have no confidence in the local Police.

2 hung jurors precisely because of the bad press.

They cover the bus as they drive through the protests.

Youre assuming the jurors cant see the writing on the wall.

You'll come back and say it doesnt meet the legal standard for a charge, its still happening and the juror's know its happening.

You have a special talent.

Yeah, it's called 'not trusting internet randos and actually looking at what's happening'.

You should try it. If you did you'd see that no one has employed the magic words your YouTube winner suggested.

I don't know why you keep trying to make this about me. I never said I was right, nor did I say that lawyer was right, but what he said makes sense, which is why I was trying to have a discussion about it.

'They'? The jury? They are in a blacked out bus, they can't see it.

The jury is still deliberating so it obviously isn't hung. I'm not sure where you're getting your info from or why you'd post something so easily disprovable.

It 'makes sense' if you are ignoring the actual reality of the situation where the defense and the Judge both haven't participated in a discussion over this subject. But YouTube guy knows best.

Some idiot takes a snapshot of the Jury, Doxes them, and *POOF* you have 12 people who are afraid to give a fair verdict, in a fair trial.

That's called 'jury tampering' and is a felony. Does anyone have evidence that this felony has taken place? Because they should alert the defense counsel and the Judge as neither one has said anything about that.

Thanks, it's been done. MSNBC is now thrown out of the rest of the trial. An investigation should show how deeply involved they are in the attempted jury tampering. So as I said, this is much more than the initial claims.

It isn't tampering, they spoke to no one and the jury wasn't even aware what transpired.

Theres more to prove they do know and have a problem with it than not.

Stop looking at the world in such a black and white manner, and so trusting of the judicial processes.

Lame

What 'more' is there to prove? You said it was a hung jury yesterday yet here they are deliberating today. You posted bull****, admit it.
