If I had to guess this is the fault of a knife-owning unvaccinated Brexiter with a private bank account. Best to lockdown some more just to be safe.

If it is Islamists, it would be an unusual target.
Why a hospital? And why Liverpool?
I don't think Liverpool has ever been targetted before.
Oh yeah see where you coming from Yeah its the door locks alright. Missed that titbit earlier. Got vague memories of terrorists targeting hospitals in Iraq and thta's not the incubators in Kuwait with propaganda from the western MSM. More like post Iraq 2 in the aftermath, memories of terrorists targeting hospitals and killing the people inside. Think they are real memories. This might point to the perpetrators being from Iraq. Or that zone

The driver was still in the car when the explosion occured.
BBC radio just reporting taxi driver saved mass casualties by closing the doors.
Do you mean by 'locking' the doors?

The rumor is that this was a failed suicide bombing.
A mystery person hailed a cab and wanted to be taken to a war memorial ceremony but the driver got freaked out by something about the passenger so they abandoned the cab and locked them in. The cab then exploded.
They've arrested several people in connection with it, but there is some kind of lockdown going on and they aren't releasing names or pictures of the people, and a lot of the normal details that would be available aren't.
In the UK this usually means that they're from a minority group.
If this were IRA there would be about 100 times more details available.

It's somewhat naive to think they allow non-citizens suspected of terrorist association to enter and leave the UK at will.
