Why COVID Cases are Surging in States with High Vaccination Rates

The first round was when it was the most effective. For a while the number of vaccinated getting ill was near zero, we heard about a few outliers and that was it. It wasn't until later when Delta hit that the vaccinated got ill regularly

Thats what happens when you treat a virus but dont kill it. Just like taking antibiotics and not finishing the course.

For perspective, 25/100,000 each month results in 300/100000 each year which is the equivalent of 1 million deaths yearly. Glad your perspective is that is not enough people to care about. Just curious why you think 1 million people is too small a number for us to take notice of.

25/100,000 a month means 300/1,200,000 a year

South Korea three thousand deaths.
Japan 18000 deaths.
Australia under three thousand.

So your saying it IS a scam because a few countries have low death tolls? You cant say Arrrghs wrong, with a handful of out laying examples when the rest are the complete opposite.

Theres a reason those countries have such low death tolls... and its not proof of a scam, its because they (Korea and NZ) in particular went full on at the very start in curbing the virus, with strict lockdowns and border closures (While the political Right here in NZ went the Trump route of 'think of the ecominy', 'Wha abut ma freedoms?', 'Global Pandemic? pffft its only da Flu, ahem da ecominy dont forget the ecominy').

Mean while, the huge death tolls elsewhere prove it isnt a scam, unless you think there is a global army of insiders fudging death certificates all over the place and killing large groups of people off in order to maintain the illusion of a fake virus (wait dont answer that, of coarse you do despite the extreme secrecy and logistical issues such a global ruse would entail). Most of the countries with the huge death tolls prove it isnt a scam, they are also the countries who at the start said oh its all fake, its just the flu, the economy comes before public health like you know Trumps America and numerous tin pot countries did who are now in the deep # or are still just not worried about any of it (whats 600,000+ mostly poor in Brazil dead to their leaders, good riddance i guess?)...

Here in NZ, we've had a surge in cases the last month or so, thing is the surge is mostly in the unvaccinated or in communities or towns where vaccination numbers were far lower than the rest of the country, and when a new case pops up its always due to someone breaking a lockdown rule... its almost as if the vaccines and various lock downs are working funny that. My town was one of the first to pop up in the recent surge, in the space of a couple of weeks the town went full bore on vaccination and the other precautions,as of now cases are zero and no sign of Covid in the area (as far as im aware).

For individuals who received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series:

65 years and older
Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
