The Chicago Police have canceled a "day off" for officers because of possible fallout from Rittenhouse verdict.

Chicago Police canceled a day off for officers because they are worried about issues from the Rittenhouse verdict. "Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara claimed decision made if 'verdict doesn't go positive"

What struck me is the statement "if 'verdict doesn't go positive". What do they mean by "go positive". To me that means that they are afraid of violence if Rittenhouse is acquitted.

He probably meant if the verdict isn't well-received by the public.

Chicago has also given all school children the day off tomorrow, to get injected with the vaccine drugs.

abc7chicago.com...

Chicago is a crazy place, run by crazy people.

----Edit to add----

Tomorrow will be the first wintry day of the season. Potential life-saver, preventing so much Covid vaccine poisoning of our kids, and preventing major unrest...

Friday, Nov. 12

Mostly cloudy, blustery winds out of the WSW. Sporadic snow showers or possibly rain mixed with snow south. Highs upper 30s to lower 40s. Chance of rain/snow showers overnight.

Sounds like perfect time for Chicago PD officers refusing the jab to send a big FU to the mayor.

Why?
If there are riots, the police won't be allowed to stop them.
May as well give all the police the day off.

I completely agree, if I were the police I'd just stay home anyway. What's the point of going out there to deal with people who want you dead when you don't have any power to do anything about it in the first place?? # it, let Beetlejuice reap what she's sown.

This applies to one day this weekend, Fri., Sat., or Sun.

"To enhance public safety and to address current crime patterns, all full-duty sworn members will have one regular day off canceled this upcoming weekend between November 12, 2021 through November 14, 2021,"

I thought the Judge said yesterday that the Jury should expect...... dammit I can't remember how he worded it, but he said next Monday or Tuesday.

That would be a, ahem, 'dislike'.
Influence, sweeping like a high wave,
They are merely sharing,
with their 'dislike'.

Dislike.

But this is Chicago, won't the protestors be shooting each other?

I thought that's how things worked there.

That was OK until they went downtown and began stealing fur coats and Bentleys in the nice shopping area. (Known as "The Magnificent Mile")

I thought the judge was going to simply "dismiss the case with prejudice", meaning it cannot be brought back to trial again.

I didn't think the judge actually said that. At least, I only recall hearing the defense attorney say that specific phrase/term.

I think a bunch of those who did get vaccinated are now sick. Being kept hidden by the city. They're afraid.

Where is Jen Psaki? She said she was COVID positive over 13 days ago. She stated that should could not travel over 15 days ago.

So, either she has a real bad case of COVID after a vax or....

The Police have the primary responsibility of maintaining order. Justice is the responsibility of other government agencies.

What is wrong with the Police hoping for a guilty verdict so that their job of maintaining order is an easier one?
