If we don't curb media, America ends.

I made a post long ago about the removal of comments from Yahoo and how it affected our country because every bull# article that came out got the blowback it deserved. After this change, the Yahoo views on all articles took a nosedive because most people only clicked on the articles to see the comments.

Now, we are staring down a world where Youtube and by extension Google is removing the downvoting button. I wonder why that is? Youtube states it is to help small time publishers but I would challenge anyone, left, right, center or a #ing alien to acknowledge that as the truth.........

What is happening, what has been happening is that as mainstream media has been losing traction to independent journalism they desperately claw at whatever avenue they still have to stay relevant.

Youtube has for all of us presented the "Covid 19" column which consists of MSNBC, CBS, ABC basically anything with a #ing M, S or a #ing C. Doesn't matter if you want to see it or not, you get it anyway, that's just how it is. The problem for them is that, ALL of those videos are downvoted into oblivion, the ratio is insane but they just keep the vids, right there.

The terrifying thing for all of us is when the information that 95% of the country takes in becomes controlled by special interests and becomes "Newspeak" no different than big brother from 1984 we all need to start to demand credibility in the information we take in.

If you don't allow comments on the news posts you create it's because it's not news, it's propaganda. If you don't allow people to downvote a video on Youtube, it's because the entire #ing country has been downvoting this communist, marxist regime and they can't allow it to keep happening and anyone that actually thinks Youtube gives 2 #s about small time creators is high af.

Too many people in this country are subject to just the news they hear, right or wrong, that's all they know. There is a war on information and every
sham mainstream outlet are trying to make all news a one way street. They print or publish anything they want and there is no way to interact with that content to contest it. This is focused, targeted and it's something that needs to be crushed before we let it get off the ground.

By your own admission we are curbing media.

Independent journalism is rising and continues to.

Legacy media will continue to be phased out.


Thats not to say that we may only devolve into many separate echo chambers.

Media is a form of mind control.

Currently they are running rampant with every topic so they can garner traffic and create more revenue.

It will only get worse.

Unfortunately, it's way more complex of an issue now with the current situation.
Media has been, imo intentionally pushed onto the internet, where it is controlled by gov started companies using feel good stories, like "the garage book seller" and "the nerdy college kid entrepreneurial social media wiz kid!" To conttol society.

Unfortunately, I think it's slightly more sinister than that. There seems to be a concerted effort to make information one sided on platforms that have always had a way to dissent.

Any of those quotes make you think..... as nothing has really changed just become more refined...But... the internet has made it much harder for the purveyors of lies, thus look at the regimes around the world who block certain websites or internet providers ? Notice how some social platforms block or delete any disparaging words or topics that can point out the propaganda that is being pushed forward ?

Well TPTB have upgraded all this to "Cognitive Warfare" where they can make people believe anything. There are those who absolutely believe that well structured propaganda can create any false reality desired. Just get all the talking heads reading off the same script (MSN/CNN) and the lie becomes the truth in many people's minds .

There will always be those who will follow some designated leader blindly and enforcers to insure his commands are carried out. Under the right light salt looks just like sugar so always use a discerning eye when hearing or looking at government speak.

Rittenhouse is a good example. If you were to ask most Americans pre trial if he would be found guilty, I think an overwhelming amount of them would have said yes. That being...... Without knowing any actual facts outside of what had been reported by obvious shill networks.

the problem is not free speech. the problem is lack of free speech.

the left in this country is increasingly one-sided and intolerant of other (conservative, moderate) views. the US public is NOT being informed by the media establishment, it is being propagandized.

shutting down comments is a perfect example. the left says 'we want to promote our point of view and we don't want anyone else's to be presented'.
