His status contradicted his preseason proclamation of "yeah, I've been immunized" when he was asked if he was asked directly if he'd been vaccinated. His lack of a vaccination ensured that he couldn't play on Sunday per the NFL's COVID-19 protocols.

If you want the jab, great, if you don’t fantastic, but Aaron Rodgers is the worst of them all.

Why is he the worst? First of all I have NO problem with telling people that my medical history is none of their business. Hippa went right out the door with Covid. I know that him being a public athlete is a little different. What I have a problem with is that he pretended to be vaccinated “immunized” when he wasn’t. I would have had 100000% more respect for him if he was just vaccinated, or just said he will not be getting vaccinated because he doesn’t believe in it. I honestly think there are only two choices here. Even if he just said none of your business I would have had so much more respect for him.

So here’s the thing, I really don’t care about Aaron that much. I just live in Wisconsin and this is Packer land. I do think he could possibly be the biggest hypocrite there is. Remember a few years back, he was going to start a bar with Ryan Braun? For those that don’t know, Rodgers and Braun were going to open a restaurant. There was some gossip regarding Braun and some drug use, but he denied it and it turned out true. Rodgers went CRAZY, seriously LOCO and livid at Braun for being deceitful………he broke off the business deal. I wonder if Braun is watching all this going down with Aaron right now.

So back to Aaron, just like everyone else, if you don’t want the jab quit your job or do whatever is required to not get it, wear mask. If you are truly against it, fight against it. Someone in his position could have made a huge impact.

I haven't followed the story as closely as you seem to have. I like Aaron, but how did he pretend to have taken the shot?

The worst thing that can happen to Aaron Rodgers is that he is forced to retire and suffer living the rest of his life with his untold millions. The horror.

100% agree with you here.

Vaccinated or unvaccinated, we need to be honest and transparent. That is the only way we will find a path forward.

Edit to add - High profile individuals should step up and lead the dialog on this. Promoting transparency and prompt debate on how we can move forward and still retain what we enjoy and what is apart of our culture.

It appears some of his sponsors are dropping him, like an insurance agency. He is also sponsored by a hospital system, so I’m sure that one will be going bye bye soon.

I’m not sure about Aaron but you’d be surprised a lot of pro athletes are not as rich as people think they are. Many spend that money in their youth and end up just regular or even poor in their older years. Having lived in Florida it was weird to see so many former professional athletes just getting regular ol’ takeout, and living in regular houses like the rest of us.

They opened a restaurant, which closed after the Braun scandal.

I guess only the left and the media is allowed to lie.

I would lie to instead of object myself to the rabid left hysteria

I would take a fake vax card. I hope a dr gives me saline and says he gave me the vax

Lie lie lie and dont comply..

From what I heard on some interviews is he claims he is allergic to a component of the vaccine and took some holistic treatments before the season and asked the NFL if that was sufficient to qualify for being vaccinated and they said no.

What treatments he had I do not know but in his mind he believed he was treated as well as the vaccine but the NFL disagreed and he said F it and never took the vaccine because of what he and his health team discussed.

It really didn’t help that he quoted MLK

Michael Strahan, meanwhile, took issue with Rodgers invoking and misquoting Martin Luther King Jr. this week when attempting to defend himself, telling "The Pat McAfee Show": "The great MLK said you have a moral obligation to object to unjust rules and rules that make no sense."

Do you think MLK would say he was “immunized” Heck no! Aaron is a tool!

If he really is against the “woke mob” and “left hysteria” he should have said he refuses to take the vaccine period and stick to his guns. I don’t really see the problem with that. He is a coward and didn’t want to lose fans/or sponsors, which is what happened anyways.

So because you don't like how he worded it, you now expect him to be an expert in immunology?

I thought all athletes were dumb jocks and didn't know squat, but now that you don't like how he worded what he said and his understanding of his condition, he has to get it right according to you or else he's a dirty, rotten, no good liar?

Oh, I get it ... because he's not down for being crucified and wanted to avoid it if at all possible while not getting vaccinated by something that could provoke a life-threatening reaction, you're mad at him.

Did it ever occur to you that lots of people are doing what he's doing because they don't want the spotlight or the trouble and don't need to hire lawyers to attempt to defend their asses?

Lol. What an interesting take on all this.

As silly as it is, I’ll bite.

I don’t blame Rodgers one bit for how he handled it. With public figures it’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Even when it comes to your privacy and more importantly, your health privacy. He was asked, and he said he was immunized. He didn’t lie. He was, just not according to the standards of the American media and democratic socialist regime making up our minds for us.

He’s a free thinker. He did his research. He was found to have had an allergy to a component of the MRNA vaccine. He didn’t trust the J&J vaccine. So he found an alternative pathway through consult of his healthcare team. Anyone who objects to a person privacy and their own pursuit of health and happiness may as well sign up for the 4th reich and start leading the free thinkers to our slaughter.

He tried to avoid the controversy that comes with being called an anti-vaxxer. Why does it hurt your feelings so bad? Are you legit upset? Or did the media tell you to be. Seems like your were directed to be upset about someone and something that doesn’t affect you in any way, shape or form.

It takes a lot of dedication and focus to be a competitive athlete. This kind of thing majorly gets in the way of that. Most people don't understand.

When I compete, I have to be so focused inside myself that I don't really remember what I just got done doing when I'm done. I am aware that I did it, but I don't really remember it ... except for mistakes. I always remember those. So for all that I have competed for years, I don't honestly have very many memories of the competitive efforts themselves.

It takes a lot of focus to get there, and when your mind is distracted, it's hard to get that focused. So I don't blame Aaron Rodgers one bit for not wanting to wade into this issue by standing up and openly announcing that he wasn't getting any of the shots. It's crap he can't afford to really deal with during the season which is already distraction and pressure enough.

I wouldn’t say I’m angry, but disappointed, but probably not for the reasons you think. It actually does somewhat affect us all. Aaron is a public sports figure. He is all over the news for what transpired which shows what he says can sway people.

I really wished Aaron would have said he didn’t get it, and isn’t going to get it and that was his choice.

Now imagine this………….

Aaron Rodger are you vaccinated?

And he says:

He was found to have had an allergy to a component of the MRNA vaccine. He didn’t trust the J&J vaccine. So he found an alternative pathway through consult of his healthcare team.

Would he get backlash, of course some, but I think that would have a much bigger impact. I mean it’s so easy for him to say all that stuff now right?

Or did the media tell you to be. Seems like your were directed to be upset about someone and something that doesn’t affect you in any way, shape or form.

I form my own opinions and I stick to them. His actions also directly impacted his team, which lost (surprise).

I saw the Packers lose yesterday without Rogers. They're still 7-2, so no big loss.

I'm a yooper, and most yoopers are packer backers.

Even though I agree that he should have the right to deny the vaccine because it is his body and he has to live with his choices, I do not agree with the way he did things. He technically was immunized with the antibody treatment I guess if he had gotten the real treatment, so he did not outright lie. But he did deceive people and that is not good either. The vaccine is not working like it was supposed to, and the side effects in this country are being covered up, but just because we have liars and deceivers in Washington DC does not mean that a packer player should be deceiving us. I do not think that it is anyone's right to even push a vaccine like this. Some people are intolerant to this vaccine and will not know until they get it, being cautious is important, only the one who gets the vaccine should have the sayso as to if they want it. I am not alone with getting a severe reaction to the flu vaccine, about a half a percent of people in this country have this same problem and because those people had a close relative who got sick from the vaccine, they won't take it. That is why the data on bad reactions to the flu vaccine is skewed, the ones at risk are not taking it. Same goes for this vaccine, it will cause an overreaction in some people and the people are unaware that they are susceptable. Epigenetics research has not yet identified why this is happening, because both diet and genetics are involved. I don't get sick very often unless I take certain medicines, I have a good immune system and that good immune system gets overstimulated when traces of viruses are injected into the body, it goes berserk with a cytokine or bradykin storm from vaccines. Remember what I said about certain medicines, some medicines disrupt enzymes and dampen our immune system as part of their method of action. So if you take certain meds, you are more susceptible to covid 19 and the flu.....medicines that are widely used in this country can mess up the communication in the body.

This guy should have just said the whole truth, he is not a politician and does not work for a corrupt government health agency, he does not live in DC which is full of Deceivers, he is a Packer. He is supposed to be better than corrupt political figures.
