WASHINGTON—The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.

That is a lot of tax payer money to hand out. Why not invest it internally. I can think of dozens have areas this kind of money could be better spent. I feel bad for those people separated at the border, but I am not sure if dolling out this much money will really be a benefit.

Anyone that worked their whole lives to be stuck on the low monthly social security payment should do something drastic if this garbage is signed.

It often seems like Biden's #1 objective throughout his entire time in office is to buy enough votes to keep him in there for a 2nd term. He still has about 37 more months. That's a lot of time to buy a lot of votes. I wonder if it will be enough.....

If somehow he does manage to pull it off, you know his 2nd term is gonna look nothing like his first, since buying more votes will no longer be a priority.

The more I read on this story, the more I see how the Democrats in power are giving the finger to the hard working Americans, showing that they are in power and they can make their new invader illegal voters the new favorites of their party and with that they show that Americans does not means a darn thing to them.

Ummm…frankly…I don’t want him to do eff all for me…I just want government to get the eff out of the way so that I can do for myself…without being penalized…

When an American citizen breaks a law, (just as illegal immigrants are breaking a law), that American citizen gets sent to prison. And that tends to break up families, too. Are American families that have been broken up going to get the same amount of money?

Parents deported without their children are being brought back to America for re-uniting with them.

Biden will pay each family unit $450,000 to say, "We're so sorry! Vote Democrat. OK?"

Only $1 Billion taxpayer dollars will be used. Any additional $$$ can be from volunteer donors.
