You would think they would be filming behind a barrier or something. Maybe someone dropped a gun on the ground and the barrel picked up a rock jammed in the end.

You should probably try to catch up on the story before you comment. That's not what happened.

Excellent analysis.

I doubt you'll see any of the Baldwin fans that think he's innocent because he made fun of Trump even attempt to rply to this post. It will be ignored. The facts don't matter anyway, their feelings determine his guilt or innocence.

Or, it could have something to do with our legal system of presumed innocence. *Shrug*

Except the people I was talking about don't respect that precept. And you're well aware of that. Leave the dishonest intonations out of your replies to me, please.

This is one of my favorite parts:

It is common knowledge that firearms are dangerous instruments, so the law presumes that we all possess such knowledge. In the case of Baldwin, he actually sits on the board of a gun-control organization whose existence is premised on the fact that guns are dangerous, so he can certainly be presumed to possess this knowledge.

I'm sure this would be brought up during any potential prosecution. It would be hilarious if, in his defense, Baldwin's lawyer had to explain that gun control advocacy groups don't necessarily know anything about guns and how they work.

Other actors have spoken out, saying that normal procedure is for the actor to double-check the weapon, even if he has been assured it was safe. The gaffer on set also spoke out, apparently regretting that the production had been cutting corners by hiring unqualified people, including an inexperienced armorer who had numerous problems in the past and appears to have been totally unqualified and unsafe.

Read more here.

This is getting more and more disgusting the more that comes out.

I wasn't talking about you. Not sure where the guilty conscience desire to respond to that post came from on your part. What's wrong with you?

Some of the comments on that article say they're familiar with the local prosecutor and that she's unlikely to charge him. She has a history of not charging progressives activists for crimes like vandalizing statues. If that's true, I think the odds of her charging a progressive hero like Baldwin are pretty much nil.

That may be the case, but, odds are that he's going to be sued out of existence.

Could versus did. You seem a lot more upset about the former.

Talk about disgusting.

Well, Google has gotten to work trying to help Baldwin.

For the first few days after the incident, if you typed "Alec Baldwin" into Google, "Alec Baldwin shooting" was one of, if not the, first suggestions that came up to finish the query.

Now it doesn't even appear in the suggestions. At least for me. Tried it on my phone and my laptop.

Remember, in this case, we're not talking about someone intending to kill, or even shoot, anyone. No one thinks that's what Baldwin set out to do, but we do think it's clear that through chain of extremely negligent events in which he was a key player, someone was shot and died, and there are laws about this.

I hope Baldwin lives in remorse for the rest of his life, maybe he will do the planet a favour and top himself but given he is a high-up libtard, he will likely shrug it off within a week.

Wow. What a sickening post.

What a horrible thing to have happen to three successful careers.

My regards to the families and friends of what appears to be three victims in
this tragic incident.

Well. There are some decent posters on ATM like yourself. My faith is restored.

Such a terrible tragedy.

Thank you, but I will trust Smith & Wesson more than a YouTube video. Your mileage may vary.

Truthfully, i think anyone mocking someone elses tragic loss for political scoring is a dirtbag move. However, not exactly a departure from the norm from the trump family.

While I agree that mocking over tragedy is in poor taste, I also cannot ignore the fact that Alec Baldwin literally made a career out of mocking Donald Trump over every action that could be twisted into tragedy or lie that could be advanced through repetition.

One can sometimes be forgiven for responding in kind to a history of malicious attacks.

It appears the local prosecutor may be out of her league here. The NM OHSA looks to be interested in potential prosecution, as could the state of New Mexico.

At least I hope so. Then there are the wrongful death lawsuits.
