Made up language? What, like, plain English?

If "plain English" is your new word for "redefinition," I guess so.

I tested positive for Covid nearly four weeks ago.
I had no symptoms apart from a bad chest.

The virus had infected me but because I have been double jabbed my body was able to fight it and I didn't develop the disease.

I'm glad you came through the experience so well.

I am curious, though: you didn't say what your situation would have been without the vaccine. You know, so we could get a comparison.

So, plain English is not your thing?

Was my link a "redefinition"?

More like a "definition", surely?

As in a definition of what a vaccine is?

Its two words, by the way. Plain English. Not a "made up language".

Where do you get that from?

All I know is that I have been watching the shingles vaccine with interest, considering getting it. Too bad; I was under the impression that it would likely prevent a very painful disease. Since I now know it doesn't do that, I guess I wom't be getting it either.

Thanks for setting me straight on that. You just kept me from wasting my time.

Obviously I don't know how I would have been if I wasn't double jabbed, if I did offer an opinion it would be pure conjecture.

The fact remains that I was/am classed as vulnerable and at risk by the NHS.
Yet having tested positive I had only minimal symptoms.

In my opinion - and that's all any us can offer - based on the information available to me I believe that the vaccine probably helped my body fight the infection.
If I hadn't had the two jabs I think I might have been a lot worse.

So, to answer your question; I have absolutely no idea how I would have been if I hadn't had the vaccine because I have had it.
How can I give an honest and accurate answer to something that can't/hasn't happened?
How on earth can I give a comparison?

The FACTS are that I have been double jabbed, tested positive yet had very few symptoms.
My OPINION is that the vaccine helped my body fight the disease.

That's all I can offer.

That was my point.

And THAT I will agree with.

General Powell's funeral is now live streaming.

Here: www.foxnews.com...

BTW...Everyone used to say to me, "Do you know you look like Colin Powell?" That was back when he was popular.

May he R.I.P. He was a soldier, leader and servant for the United States. He was a great man and will always be remembered for his awesome deeds. Covid struck again for the fully vaccinated hero but they will say he was old and had underlying issues.
Colin Powell dies of COVID at age 84

Colin Powel voted for JOE BIDEN for President: www.npr.org...

And died less than a year later.

i wouldn't read to much into that, Powell although not very trustworthy as far as what was good for the country, wasn't the kind of person that would hold with the things trump said and or did. Powell was more of a establishment man, ie company man.

that and he was 84, lots of people don't make it that long even without a " Infectious disease" running round the world.

All the Bush appointees seem to have been company men.

AG Barr would have been spectacular, if he could have transitioned away from being a company man.

Weren't you ever told that if you have nothing good to say,
sometimes it's better to say nothing at all??

That 'advise' is for married couples only . . .Lol!
NOT conspiracy forums.

Sincere Honesty is the ambiance of any funeral,
at least any that I went to.
Since when did ATS turn into a fluffy patronizing karen ?
That patronizing attitude, totally defeats the name of
Class by censoring Truth, Honesty, and Reality.
And such patronizing perpetrates cover-ups, conspiracies and deceit.

someone starts talking like you have been about them,
there will be blood on the floor when all is said and done.
I promise you that. There will probably also be a second funeral in the works.

Now ^That lacks class

. . . crash a funeral

'Crashing' a conspiracy forum by stating an opinion
about a deceased person's past life ? Now that's rich.
btw It's not as if the death was a horrible accident, or
some sort of tragedy.
Did you expect him to live passed 100 or something ?
If you respect that liar so much, someone who was
partly responsible for thousands of innocent deaths, order
some flowers for him if it makes you feel better; but
don't censor the feelings and opinions of others.

Son writes scathing obituary for dad:

whose death
“proves that evil does eventually die.”
A process of healing, from his childhood trauma.

Good for him.
