South Africa is down to under 45 Covid-19 deaths per day. That's for the entire country of 59 million residents.

See the daily deaths graph at: www.worldometers.info...

The leaders need to have a change of heart, or be removed.

Millions of people working together can accomplish miracles.

The University says staff and students who choose not to vaccinate will have to do weekly testing at their own cost.

www.enca.com...

I'm not sure, does that even make sense from a medical perspective, to test people every week?
Or is that simply punitive?

Weak attempt to force people to take the vaccine so they don't have to spend money to get tested every week.

People who are already making end meet might not even be able to afford it , they could be forced into taking the vaccine against their will to steer away from a personal financial crisis , or not follow college ? sounds morally wrong if you ask me.

Some related news on South African campuses:

UCT (University of Cape Town): so far a petition exists against mandatory vaccines and apparently legal action looms.

Wits (University of Witwatersrand) SRC (Student Representative council) rejects vaccine mandate proposals:

I saw a similar article on the University of the Free State, although the smaller, less significant institutions haven't attracted as much coverage so far, neither have I seen that their senates are as committed to the "globalist narrative" or interpretation of science and Covid-19 vaccines.
I could be wrong though, things are developing by the hour.

Here an article from August 2021 on campuses in the US:
