Just down the lane from me is a farm and I happen to know that Santa's sleigh is kept there in a barn. We see him being towed around playing music on the back of a land rover.

The reindeer are fake and plastic but he can't do everything. We even get to see him early because he has little test runs to make sure everything's working after being in storage for 11 months of the year.

Having said that, we should really cancel Christmas too because Santa is definitely a bad person...

St.Nicholas who provided food and supplies for families during the winter season and is usually depicted in long flowing robes and more calming colors than red and white.

Its a free country, you are free to attend or free to avoid. Also I am certain that the vast majority of African American people love Halloween and think this is nuts.

Unless it is a private school, it is both federally and state funded.

In separation of church and state Halloween doesn't exist in government eyes.

If it did it would be a Federal and or State holiday... and it would limit all other people celebrations and days of the dead destroying many families traditions.

Greed would get rid of all of them and greed would celebrate all of them both ends are extremes and well extremism being terrorism? Even though it is day of the dead appropriate so they know their place? It isn't suggested to riot the dead unless you also celebrate what is known as a wake.

Absurd. Would you say that Christmas 'marginalizes' those that live by Islam and Judiasm? Should Christmas therefore be cancelled? Should any holiday be cancelled in deference of those who don't enjoy/celebrate it? Of course not! What in the Samhain kind of bullcrap is that??????????????

Half the time, that's the reason given when one thing or another is cancelled: it isn't "inclusive" because this or that group doesn't participate.

If the residents of that town do not believe what the assholes in the school department think, they should just do something about it. Take the kids out of school until they appologize and even if the "decision" is not reversed, send them out on Halloween anyway, like the rest of the country. If black people do not want to go out and celebrate, they just do not have to. Period.
