I mean… I get you are bother by the racial drama involved on this but Joe Griden was not a great coach by any measure.

Barely .500 winning percentage during his career. Won a SB with what everyone agrees was Tony Dungee’s players.

He had a good gig at ESPN no doubt but he was never that good of a coach. He is no Belichick, no Sean Payton, no Mike Tomlin.

He is just a middle of the road coach…more like Jeff Fisher.

Humorous, since the team he coached against in the Super Bowl was made up of HIS players.
Even more humorous is you including Mike Tomlin as a great coach, even though the only time he won, or even sniffed a Super Bowl is with Bill Cowher's players. As a lifelong Steelers fan, I can say that Tomlin has mostly been a disappointment for over a decade. With one of the best Offenses in football, he never made a SB, and only 1 AFC championship game, where his defense was blown out. As a matter of fact, the last three playoff games he has coached ( 2016 AFC Championship Vs. New England, @017 AFC Divisional game against Jacksonville, and 2020 Wildcard game against Cleveland) he has led his team to three blowout losses. Some coach. And don't even pull that " he has never had a losing season BS. He has coached a team stocked with All-Pros and future HOFers. Any coach worth his salt would do the same.
