If they took the magazine fed semi-autos then they indeed took your best defense.

They aren’t for sport, for fun, for hunting or for collecting. They are the best choice against dangerous critters (2 and 4 legs) whether that’s defending your home or defending your country from all enemies foreign and domestic

The “buy back” nonsense only works for those ideologically inclined anyhow.

1) they offer nowhere near the true worth of the firearm. Why sell it to them when a private buyer will pay what it’s actually worth?

2) they’re used mostly to discard of unwanted and broken weapons that’d otherwise sit in a closet for decades

3) if they ever did pay what the guns were worth, you could sell your old ones in order to finance brand new guns. Leave the buy back site and go buy some brand new ones

4) even when mandated, smart people will ignore the law and wait until logic/reason eventually returns. Or they move.
