True, but if as many people test themselves for flu with PCR test as there are currently as many people testing themselves for covid with PCR test, you will find millions and millions of cases of flu in any given year. The number of flu cases absolutely dwarfs the number of covid cases if people test for flu as much as they test for covid. As such, the number of flu deaths will of course be much higher than currently reported in that scenario.

You are BOTH RIGHT...

IF they followed the same criteria for listing a death for statistics as covid caused on flu deaths then random point is valid.

HOWEVER

as you have pointed out they do make it harder/more precise (depending on point of view or use) for flu deaths

for covid they put it (not easy to find btw) the CDC website you can code a death as covid "if you suspect or have symptoms of covid.. NO TESTING REQUIRED (capitalization for emphasis).

In short to get the numbers up for covid deaths they had to do this..

or in laymans terms listing those that died WITH COVID as CAUSED BY COVID.

to which (again on their website kinda not obvious) they do state only 6 percent of deaths were from covid (aka covid was only reason) that were listed as covid deaths.

then if you look at it further you see the 94 percent had other factors / comorbidity (btw two or more) .
but dont go into detail IF the deaths WERE FROM COVID OR WITH COVID.

Yes, but almost all people with extremely severe cases of the flu will be hospitalized and tested, especially in the case of having other similar conditions, which must be treated differently, and so there is a very small number of those who die of flu, who would not be PCR tested.

In the US death rate is now about 1% if I'm not mistaken. It's down considerably from last year due to ongoing viral adaption to host.

Big incentive to state the cause as covid.

BESIDES... HOW can we know for sure ? The CPR tests are a failure. They don't distinguish between the covid or the flu.

So perhaps all the deaths are from the flu.

The TESTS are not accurate. And therefore, the causes of death are not accurate.

Actually, the PCR test cannot be used for a reliable diagnosis. It cannot distinguish between the covid-19 or the flu.

The CDC has mandated a reliable test be provided by Dec 31, 2021.

What do you want to bet that the covid-19 diagnosis disappears and the flu ramps up big numbers again....
