Answer the door...speak in gibberish...and close the door...all the while pointing up and shaking your head.

That....or answer the door nude.

Is Milk a No No in Scotland now?
Here milk is often almost sold out it's so popular

Don't you all have a thing called cereal?
Or milk and biscuits?

No, not at all. I was meaning there is nothing worse than running out of milk in the morning just before breakfast. So the tactic must have been to get lucky by knocking on doors hoping someone has ran out of milk.

Some people seem to think that all we eat over here anyways is haggis with whisky. Steak and Haggis with whisky, Nationalism with milk and haggis with whisky, haggis and haggis with whisky. Always wash it down with a good movie (braveheart) followed with a debate over the spelling of "whiskey" or "whisky" and whit greedy caant drank the last drop of booze in the hoose

There's actually not a lot of truth in it at all. It's only on a Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues and every second thursday that this is the case for the majority!

Nah, just because we all have a bad breath does not mean we always eat eggs. (See - another presumption)

I have always wanted to try duck eggs for breakfast. We use hens and as far as I was aware folks in the states use duck eggs?

Yeah, totally into the despair, got to be these days
I only go for walks when it's raining so that I can hide my tears of joy!

I have never had a duck egg other than in like Chinese soup. its all chicken/hen eggs.

I keep reading about pheasants and stuff in my fancy cook books and I have yet to find it.
I guess I am not a Lord yet.

That's strange. Must be another Hollywood movie thing possibly?

Every movie from the states has some guy with duck eggs in the fridge, like this here (I assumed it was duck eggs?)...

over here the eggs are like this...

Always bugged me that one

Guys face drops.

You mean 'The guy's face'? You need an apostrophe.

Did he pick it up again, or leave it?

It's amazing that people still talk face-to-face.

It's not a good idea to use 'sexual language' when engaging with strangers, you never know where that will lead.

Why would anyone start talking to some pushy stranger anyway? There's so much to unpack in your story, my brain gets scrambled..
