while calling for people on facebook to be punished for posting things that aren't true, he came up with this gem:

"If we say something on this network that is not true, there are repercussions and ramifications, right? We face the consequences," Lemon said to anchors John Berman and Brianna Keilar. "If you do that on social media, there are no consequences. It's a wild, wild west."

www.foxnews.com...

in light of the facts emerging from the Russian Collusion hoax, I find his words to be worthy of praise for the humor and irony involved. How can someone be this tone deaf and still survive without assistance? It's mind boggling.

So perhaps we should instigate a penalty system for those who spread untruths. And the punishment increases with the perpetrator's social presence. So random guy on Facebook might see his account locked for a week, while a CNN anchor who broadcasts to millions of people and tells lies, should be fired, and imprisoned. is that what you are looking for Don? Something like that, or should we just kill em all and let God sort em out?

CNN is a lot like SNL. They think they are witty and insightful, when what they really are is just pathetic attention seekers, dishing out thin gruel to those dumb enough to keep watching.

God I hope they get bombarded with videos where they outright lied.
Although hopefully nobody was even watching when he said it.

To be fair, they have faced repercussions. I'm pretty sure none of their shows even get a million viewers anymore.

To Lemon, promotions and bonuses are consequences.

I love CNN's comedy style - it's like Leslie Nielson, looking serious while talking nonsense.

Here's a great sketch that's a comedy masterpiece, simply titled "Carpark Live Cross".

My hope one day is that a truly unbiased fact check service comes about at which point I think most of the content on CNN, The Gateway Pundit and other sites similar to those two would be labeled inaccurate.

The problem is that people are so weaponized now along their party lines that no one wants to hear that a site which supports their view might actually have lies on it or that a site opposing their views might have truths on it.

we seem to always go back to the boy who cried wolf. And after 5 years of "Russia, he's a Putin puppet, we have a mountain of evidence", it's hard to trust those who pushed all that. And they may well have truthful news at some point. Like the Gateway Pundit, they do have some real news at times, but they have spread so much obvious sh!t, that most won't believe anything on this site. So it's fair to say they did it to themselves.

But when Don Lemon wants to talk about truth and journalistic integrity, it's not much different than asking Ted Bundy to come for dinner, and bring his favorite dish. You aren't sure what you are going to get, but suspect it will be a bit wrong even before the first bite.

Telling lies on the internet isn't a crime unless the lies are actually true, which is why you need lawyers to prove that those facts are actually harmful speculation that could ruin your career if the people who keep talking about it aren't quickly silenced and their platform restricted to curb the range of communication.

TL,DR taking away the opportunity to speak freely is a dead giveaway you have something to hide.

So, when Don "Bendover" Lemon sexually abuses a person, in public, and lies and lies about it, what should the "consequences" be ?

They got consequences during the Nick Sandmann LIE

to the tune of tens of millions of dollars

And there’s STILL not a single ATS leftist who has uttered a single word about that massive payout and the LIE that cNn told about that boy and his school

They’re GUTTED about it. Whereas Nick Sandmann is FILTHY RICH! and laughing his head off. Never has to work a day in his life thanks to the rabid whack job left and their pathetic mainstream news provider

Not fair at all...

Their loss of viewership was done voluntarily, by those who were watching.

He is promoting the view that people should be punished for stating simple opinions, in places where most people likely have about one millionth of the viewership he has.

So, no, they need to be prosecuted for their collusion and incitement of insurrection.
