You live on an island. Where are you really going to go without a boat or plane? It is a big island, but eventually you would pop up somewhere sometime or another.

As an Aussie I hate to say it but it's true Australia is becoming the nanny state laughing stock of the world.

Melbourne now has the longest harshest lockdown in the world. And the recent vaping ban. We are now run by bedwetting nanny state bureaucrats.

And the worst part is the useful idiot sheeple citizens who go along with this crap and actually think it's a good idea. Hopefully this is just a blip and things will go back to normal. People are starting to get pissed off.

Not even letting you vape, is this a total ban, or just on the streets. These bastards don't like nicotine do they.

What I can't get my head around is that there will actually be volunteers.

Victoria and more specifically Melbourne have been under the spell of Stockholm Syndrome for months and months now. I'm not surprised.

Also, wait until they start to open the National Resilience Camps, just remember, in this new clown world reality No means Yes.

From your link:

There are no plans to put all Australians who are not fully vaccinated into camps as the post claims. A spokesperson from 7News confirmed the post was from a fake social media account, while the Department of Health said the information was false.

Some states are developing purpose-built quarantine facilities, sometimes referred to as camps, however these are for returned travellers undergoing quarantine.

False – Content that has no basis in fact.

AAP FactCheck is an accredited member of the International Fact-Checking Network.

Yet NO WHERE is there a NAMED official denying this!!
So basically, don’t believe everything you read. We all know the conspiracy theories never turn out to be true conspiracies against humanity, right!?! Not one OFFICIAL person is on record (at least in this article and on the news propaganda in the USA) denying isolation camps for Unvaxxinated.

Until then, we must be reminded that millions were told they were heading to “the showers”, and expecting to be bathed by water.

we need to deal with these control freaks asap

That about sums it up

Invest/advocate in technologies that oppose these types of goals. For instance, there is surely some automated means by which to forge time stamps and upload a series of pre-taken photos 1-by-1 on demand?

Build your own cellular phone
Inject misinformation into daily life
Spread as much bad information as you can
Become a bad cog in this giant diseased machine

How about other means? False submissions, bulk submissions? Not encouraging illegal activity, but hypothetically, surely there are organizations you could merely pay to disrupt the technical ends of this system as well

How many members on ATS who have eyes to see where this is all going would be prepared to network together non-anonymously, combine assets, move beyond the limits of the cities and club together to buy large tracts of land on multi-occupancy titles paid for outright. That is the only way it appears to me to be able to have the security to stand up against the tyranny. Parallel self-sufficient communities. Divided we are already conquered.

Precisely the conclusion I reached as well -- parallel self sufficient communities!

People with this mindset should form ongoing dialogue on a large scale as possible, sooner than later. Initiate the plan even on relatively small scales and hopefully see momentum take on a life of its own. Multiple parallel societies can then be linked. From there different parallel economies and networks can rise up.

Think of a river. There is only one path the water can flow. Any other path opening up, the water will naturally flow. If the water flows more easily, by the natural law of least resistance, the path becomes the true current.

Watch the movie "Goodbye World". It just gives a mild example of what you can expect when things start to fall apart. Moving to an area and setting up a community of like minded people, will not change the world you live in. You will not be off planet. You will still have to interact with the world that you hope to reject, and you will still have to play by their rules.

Whatever you think you own, you don't. They can take everything you have, including the roof over your head, and the food you had planned to put in your stomach. If they so choose. You can fight back, but think Waco, you are not likely to win. I know some people are willing to die in the fight, but somethings are worth fighting for, but not worth dying for. Somethings are worth fighting for, and worth dying for. We have to pick our battles

We can hope for the best, but we need to plan for the worse.

If you can't make it with just the clothes on your back, you may not be able to make it. Prepare you mind, and your spirit, because that is where your hope lies. Don't rely on others alone, because as things start to go South, they will bail, and everything they know about your settlement will be sold to the invaders for a biscuit and a cup of water.

Ammunition runs out, goods and supplies will run out. Determination, fortitude, patience, and flexibility, are the tools most needed. The government is corrupt. The majority of those in its employment will be even more corrupt, less humane, and just as power hungry.

Moving off grid, with a bunch of people that have spent their lives eating from a grocery store, who have never had to survive off the land, has never walked more than a block, and thinks the world has come to an end when there is no electricity, running water, or toilet paper, is not likely to go the way you hope.

For the record. The "you" used in my post is a generalization. It is not personal.

Tucker Carlson's site Daily Caller reported on this tech last month actually:

An Australian state is testing out a new app that uses facial recognition technology to ensure residents are complying with COVID-19 home quarantine orders.

The app, listed as Home Quarantine SA in app stores and unveiled by the South Australian government Aug. 23, uses geo-location and facial recognition software to track those quarantining themselves, South Australia Premier Steven Marshall told ABC News in an August interview. All South Australians ordered to quarantine must download the app.

The app ensures citizens comply with quarantine orders by contacting people at random and asking them to provide proof of their location within 15 minutes. Citizens then share their location with the government or provide “live face check-ins” to confirm they are at their “registered quarantine address,” according to the app’s description.

From memory it's not a ban on Vaping per se, but a ban on the import and sale of vape liquids and E cigs. So while you can Vape, you can't actually purchase any of the required gear without a docs prescription.

Sounds about right.

It's always been do as wesay, not as we do with all the governments here since the Covid thing kicked off.

I mean, it's always been like that to an extent, but the pandemic has really given them the balls to be completely open about the situation.

Hell Dan Andrews (Vic premier) is under investigation for breaching his own mask mandate. Again, do as we say, not as we do.....
