I think your right, being overweight is a huge factor for Covid.

i disagree with you it isnt a huge factor for covid, but ANY biological , fungal, viral pathogen.
Along with physical acts (like climbing stairs or walking any distance) or physical factors (like heat, cold, recovery from falls).

covid to the obese is no different (give or take) then say the influenza (common) flu, RSV, pneumonia or even the common cold..

if your obese, have immune compromise, very elderly , ect.. its up to the PERSON TO TAKE ACTIONS to protect themselves.
not society of the less and maybe invulnerable (by such low death statistics) to same pathogens..

ill put myself out there with a personal story .

one of my daughters was born with an infection gotten in the womb.. all males are stillborn and females most are also stillborn..

somehow she came out alive but had to be rushed to NICU and although she was over 7 pounds.. was the sickest one they had.. bluntly was told she was as close to deaths door as ANYONE could be and still come back..
to kill it they had to hit it with three powerful antibiotics (that themselves could have made her deaf and blind) because if they tried to find what it was that caused this she be DEAD.

in short she survived (with damage to brain causing autism type problem / autism spectrum).
but for first two months we had to protect her from any pathogens.. especially RSV which was at the time more a threat than common flu..

to be fair thousands of children from NICU and normal babies with limited immune systems for a few months were also vunerable.

but it was not up to OTHERS TO BE LIMITED TO PROTECT HER AND OTHERS.. but UP TO US to protect and take actions..

this is NO DIFFERENT in the covid age..

just another pathogen for those most vulnerable to TAKE RESPONCIBLITY (or their caretakers) for protecting themselves.. not the rest of society..

BTW now she still has other challenges (some permanent ) her immune system would put the most fit person to shame.

we need to treat covid as ANY OTHER biological pathogen..

just another "flu" to be treated, not to be feared and sometimes yes some people will die..

not destroy the lives, health, education, jobs, ect of others who ARE NOT so vunerable..

Just wow... she fell into the .002% category and maybe being morbidly obese might have been a substantial factor?

It's even less risk than that for the specific age group - the absolute risk for children in that age group is less than 1 in 2 million on official UK figures which seem accurate as those dying from or with covid are seperated and underlying conditions, and detail of specific condition are all listed in the figures so accurate data can be generated.

Her morbid obesity would have dramatically raised her risk but dying within five days of covid symptoms is incredibly rare for the most frail and vulnerable. I think she must have had a couple of undiagnosed underlying health conditions that caused her death and were exacerbated by Covid (if she had it).

Going from clear lungs, no sign of severe covid or pnumonia to death within 24 hours doesn't seem to fit in with any other Covid deaths. It's possible but so improbable you're unlikely to see a single person die that way in north and south amereican populations combined.

Don't let your kids grow up to be fatties.

Thought some would find this interesting.

It seems that obesity may play a large factor in the severity of illness in children with COVID.

So it is very likely that her parent were vaccinated, and possibly recently enough that they were super spreaders... we will likely never know. I do not blame the parents, they were merely trying to do their civic service. I do pray that the real perpetrators are one day punished for this grave injustice

The mom posted in June that family members were getting Vaxxed. Someone on this thread insisted that the child still got it from the parents, but 3 months later seems unlikely.

sigh

the vaccine (for the hundredth time) DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM CATCHING OR TRANSMITTING COVID

IT WAS NEVER DESIGNED TO DO THAT AND THE VIRUS ITSELF DOES NOT PERMIT SUCH A VACCINE.

all the vaccine does (if it works as predicted) MAKES YOUR SYMPTOMS LESS AND (supposedly) INCREASES YOU SURVIVAL RATE..

NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS

so its quite possible for someone vaccinated to infect a vaccinated and unvaccinated person

normally I would agree with you and that course of action (after first saying my piece).
however, these people that BELIEVE all this covid mandate FOR ALL NO EXCEPTIONS mandate are the ones proposing, getting passed and supporting this trash...
unless we all in the MAJORITY wake up and FIGHT THEM (legal means) every and all opportunities until the mandate madness comes to an end... they will keep this up and we all pay the price.

as the saying goes

evil will exist where good men/women do nothing
