I read your previous thread when you created the topic and understand where you are coming from. My values are what others often use to categorize me as a republican, though I would not label myself that way. Its like anything short of far left ideology is considered alt right hate speech and there is no centrism. And i dont even know for sure what an alt-right really is or where it originated, but if i had to guess i would say the MSM created it. All of the sudden some swirly hair douche by the name of richard spencer was the mouthpiece for anyone who isnt a card carrying democrat. Then the antifa idiots started rioting and calling people nazis and im not so sure a single one of them actually knows what that word means. And who among us even knows a bonafide nazi, or a neo nazi for that matter? To my knowledge these types of people only exist in prisons, banding together for their own protection in a failed penal system driven by profit for punitive justice, and even when they claim its "restorative" its still punitive. This world is upside down. We need to abandon all political parties and clamp down on media outlets who claim to be "the news", hiding behind the first ammendment. Im not saying what we call msm cannot continue down their path but we need a different stage for media that reports only facts and is meant to be taken seriously.

Yang and I diverge on viewpoints on a few specifics of policy and such. But as a human, I have an immense respect for him. I may have been willing to vote for him if he'd have been nominated instead of Biden. Were we to have a Gabbard/Yang ticket, id likely vote for them. I think we have 2 branches of government able to protect the 2nd, so thats not even my consideration.

I want him to keep making sense to people, and if he isn't to at least continue to be a calm, polite, inquisitive face that tries to bridge this ridiculous divide our nation has.

That's because the DNC didn't want to be bipartisan, I have no doubts there are certain elements that want to punish the opposition and control as much as they can. Those elements control the DNC and they choose Biden because they could control and manipulate him. Yea a Gabbard ticket might have won but they wouldn't be able to control her.

There should be a complete reset to at least get some level of bi-partisanship going.

Yeah. Okay.... What needs to happen is the whacked out Democrats of today need to wake up and smell the coffee. People who aren't the problem shouldn't have to concede anything just to achieve this "bi-partisanship."

That's until automation and AI relieve people of being gainfully employed.

I look forward to the day that people are screaming "wheres my money" when corporations begin their implementation of employees that dont need to eat, sleep, leave, be late, or have family time.

Can't begin to tell you how many time I prayed Biden wouldn't be on the ticket. For exactly the reasons were seeing manifest right now.

I dont know if that was meant for me or not, but im squarely on the side of robots AND AI!

I just think a lot of the people around here will likely start crying when someone like Andrew Yang, who had a really solid plan, turns out to be right.

It was just a general comment.

The thing is that with the amount of people we have there aren't going to be jobs for everyone. It's just facts. The vast majority of jobs are BS menial jobs where people waste their lives away being miserable.

I look forward to the possibility of a future where robots work for us, do the bulk of BS jobs, and people can actually have more time to commit to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
