With society also comes an innate responsibility to others.

On the subject of covid vaccinations and other precautions, society is speaking and speaking loudly.

Which side is in the majority is unclear to only those in the minority.

So you are responsible for me and my safety?

No.

No thanks.

Shoo.

Go away.

I'm not responsible for YOUR health.

That said, I wish you the best.

We're speaking of society, not individuals. To be part of a society comes with certain responsibilities to others.

But you have the choice to not be part of a society. In that, I wish you the best.

I am afraid at this point it's going to be the other way around, with the majority of people in our countries vaccinated... we are now the minority.

Just curious, where is the media? They could make a fuss for 0.5% of the population, namely transgender, but what about 30-40% unvaccinated?

Answer: Busy counting their extra income.

I live in a place called Reality.

In Reality, the only societies that have managed to avoid transmissible disease are the ones who have kept entirely to themselves.

It's a nice idea that if we were only more responsible we'd have perfect health, but reality has its own parameters to which we're all beholden.

If you can think of any exception to this rule, I'm all ears. Which bustling city that you know of has eradicated all diseases?

That place is so dirty it's clean. You could go there, hang out at some crap hole like the Flamingo for a few hours, contract every disease, virus and plague known to mankind, head over to the bar and sterilize yourself with a couple of well bourbons.

Agreed, it’s the social compact.

It is so freaking difficult to help customers in retail with this BS distancing nonsense. How the hell do you help a customer use the photo kiosk if they're standing way back watching, or you're standing way back and can't see anything?

We have one lady who comes in all the time for photo prints but won't do it herself. Instead, she stands waaaaay back from the kiosk, then can't see what pictures she wants printed. She quickly darts closer, points one out, then retreats. I'd find it amusing if it didn't take so damn long to get her order done and get her out of there.
