Millennium Tower in San Fransisco is Sinking Faster Than Rate ‘Limit' Set by Fix Engineers.

Even as they attempted to fix the sinking and tilting of the San Francisco Millennium Tower, the problem is getting worse. NBC Bay Area Investigative Reporter Jaxon Van Derbeken explains experts now believe the building is doing the opposite of what they predicted it would do when they started the fix.

Is there any chance it could fall over onto Nancy Pelosi's house.....when she's home. On a serious note, that's scary stuff.

Falling over or trying to escape?

On a more serious note, that's going to be a very difficult thing to resolve. My bet is they'll have to tear it down.

Since it's going to have to come down, so they will have to "pull it" (implosive demolition). Is the government going to stage another alleged terrorist attack like 911 or maybe an alien invasion this time for sh!ts and giggles? I mean it's a good way to get rid of a bunch of liability issues for the owners, the city and government, right?

Cheers - Dave

I'll take the bet. Time frame February? Where's the Venmo? This'll be easy. That said, only bet on sure.

Maybe this is kind of a prophetic picture of what is happening to the United States. The more they try to apply their "fixes," the worse it gets.

Better hope there's not an earthquake. I stopped going to the city about 15 years ago. Its not worth my time anymore. It was once a nice place. I loved going there as a kid, and also taking my kids. We used to take out bicycles on BART and ride up and down the hills, and across the Golden Gate. No more.

If the government gets involved they'll throw a ton of printed money at attempting to save it, much more than what would've cost to just rebuild the thing. THEN they'll tear it down.

But on a more serious note here, how do you safely dismantle a sinking & leaning 58 story building? One that's defied engineers twice already??

they will give it a PCR test, positive for corona, put it on a ventilator, and it will be gone in 24 hours

Doesn't matter. They'll blame it on a Trump supporter.

If this is true, they'll have to pull it down quickly. They can't risk an earthquake coming along and causing liquefaction that would bring it down in an uncontrolled manner.
