A teacher in Washington state was reportedly forced to remove a pro-police flag from her middle school classroom after administrators deemed it a “political message,” despite allowing messages in support of Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ pride flags to remain posted in the school.
that administrators told his sister it is “controversial” to display a “Thin Blue Line” flag in her classroom and that it “makes kids and staff feel unsafe.”
This is getting stupid.
Yes there are some bad cops, but overall we need to get away from this I’m scared of cops bs.
If people are truly scared of cops why are they always calling them? Next time someone tries to rob or murder them, they should call BLM or LGBTQ to help them. I’m serious, if you claim to be scared of the police, you can’t just be scared of them at school right?

That's like saying don't call the doctor for heart attacks, strokes, and automobile accidents, since most of the time physicians deal with less life-threatening conditions.

Moronic assertion, you go TO the doctor (emergency room) when those things happen.

Apparently you couldn't extrapolate to calling the ambulance...and you avoided the primary argument.

Stay focused on the topic. Who exactly is driving the battered wife or assault victim to safety?

I'm not calling the cops, but nosey neighbor Karen will. How do I skirt that?
There are no good cops as long as they turn a blind eye to and protect bad cops. Full stop.
I can't tell the difference by looking at them anyway, can you? I treat them the way they treat us; full of suspicion, no trust, keep your hands where I can see them, etc. When those public servamts start respecting the people they interact with, then maybe they will get some back.

If I or someone in my home is in need of immediate medical assistance the person is being driven directly to the hospital, not waiting on an ambulance to be dispatched and then going to the ER.
The fact that you want to rely on potentially slow government services to save your life is your call.

American police are scary compared to cops from other countries.
Way to trigger happy and generally aggressive.
Police should have no place in schools unless something serious happens.

What you said was "To be blunt, if you're in a life and death situation calling the cops isn't going to do you much good, particularly if you're already in your own home."
Pretty stupid claim, don't you think?

In my town I have seen people walk faster than the ambulances drive, I'm talking highways with light traffic. I would rather walk than rely on them. And before you say they where working on a patient, 4 hospitals within 10 miles on the south side of town, nearest hospital to the north is 80+ miles.
