Tucked into the House of Representatives’ lengthy fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act proposal lawmakers passed Thursday evening is a provision to form a permanent office under the Defense secretary, where officials would investigate government- and military-provided reports of unexplained sights in the sky.

That office would “carry out, on a department-wide basis, the mission currently performed by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force,” according to a less-than-five-page section in the House’s NDAA, which was put forth by Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., a Marine Corps combat veteran.







WOW most $$$ is for ….. (4) For biological threat reduction, $124,022,000. …. What do they know that we don’t…hmmmm. Makes one wonder of an alternate reason for taking vaccines.

It seems they are more concerned about accidental self-inflicted damage than to actually try to counter China's rampant investment in offensive weapons. And nothing about cyberwarfare, GPS spoofing, and all the usual stuff that make radars see what it doesn't exist, and do not see what it really exist?

Anyway, it is clear they need to go from UAP to FUAP (Foreign Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

Can anyone explain the difference between "signal intelligence" and "measurement and signals intelligence" in Section 2B, page 1037??

If anything, the funds add up to $239,849,000…….that’s a hell of a lot more than the $22,000,000 that Harry Reed managed to get allocated for AATIP.

Hopefully, it doesn’t turn out that the new office isn’t a new laundering scheme to pool funds, only to be directed elsewhere having nothing to do with the UAP studies. Essentially a new black hole……of untraceable tax dollars.

I can just see the grant money applications being submitted by the upper crust 1% of the elite UFOlogist’s (a non-degreed title). Time to get on the gravy train…..aye?

Just think how #ed we'd be if there was a hostile alien species... If they can travel faster than the speed of light, just think what kind of weapons they'd have... It would probably be over in less than a minute (if they wanted to destroy us).

The government needs to spend a HELL OF A LOT more money on observing these UAPs.

Greetings,
it would seem this new office is redundant with the Majestic-12 government agency, given that The Majestic 12 is (or is believed to be) the keepers of all knowledge of UFOs and ETs.

Or will this end up another project Blue Book, with the mission to debunk all UFO sightings?
Or, will this be a kinder, gentler organization that will release tidbits of info the public, unlike Majestic 12 which releases nothing to anyone?

Disappointing covid is brought up in this thread...I saw this yesterday Googling UFO news and thought about making a thread, so thanks. Hopefully more military encounters go public and we see something truly amazing.

Well, if you consider that the word “signals” in “measurement and signals intelligence” to be a bonafide typo, and should be the word “signature”……….then there would be differences.
