We are little buds glistening in the warming sun, threats of frost and ice we abhor: it is a challenging time for us. As the threats reside; rain is
welcomed as we grow larger and provide the life for our host while breathing in and breathing out. Providing a safe place for our friends and foes
alike. Those fluttering friends are such a delight keeping us mostly whole to provide. We watch, sway, and hold tight during the blustery
thunderstorms; knowing there is a greater purpose. We give shade, shelter, home, and food to those that notice us. In the fall we are tired and our
host is tired of us. Once so green in the spring we are now glorious colors of red and orange waiting to turn brown and become this years Leaves that
are the Legends of the Fall.
