That is why this time of year is so magical. Last night about 12:25 or so, I walking around outside and on the eastern horizon and saw that were two of the stars of Orion’s Belt already up. So in another three weeks, he should be fully up by midnight in time for Halloween.

It should be noted that Orion had nothing to do with the timing for Halloween, the Pleaides did. Since the Celts thought the Pleaides were a window into the spirit world, when the Pleaides were roughly directly overhead at midnight and the moon was full, it was time for Samhain. The wobble of procession makes that further into November or even early December now...far too late for a harvest festival ahead of a long winter.

I decided to take the challenge from the welcome introduction to the forums posting.

It's not polished at all making it very hard to follow... I didn't proof read it, then going back after posting I was like oh no it's horrible :p
