I put this under New World Order because I think it's being driven from there (Mods: move if you'd like).

Anyway, I just wanted to raise this point quickly, because there are a lot of people on here who are either "anti-vax" or "anti-mustvax", and the threads and posts often reflect that. Subsequently, you'll get people on these same threads that are very "pro-vax", and an argument inevitably ensues. For some reason this always comes across as conservative vs. liberal, but I think that's unfair and myopic. For me it's more common sense than party affiliation. C'est la vie.

However, my startup page to the internet is on MSN. I didn't purposefully set it like that, it came like that with the computer and I just never changed it. When I open a page, my MSN start page always pops up and there are 2 prominent stories proffered complete with big, bold photos to accompany the story. Sometimes one or two will catch my eye and I'll read it quickly (I think it's actually inspired a few posts from me). Well, today I saw this one, and I wanted to share it quickly. It was a link to a story on MSNBC (I'll provide the link of course) about an "anti-vaxxer" who died of COVID. Now then, MSN is CLEARLY very liberally slanted, and I've seen many of these types of stories on my start page, always the same, some "anti-vaxxer" dies from COVID. Always, and often. Never, not once, about a vaccinated person dying from COVID...not once. Todays, in my opinion, was just so over the top that I decided to share.

The story is about an "anti-mask" crusader who died from COVID. However, for the purpose of this new story she wasn't just an "anti-mask" advocate, but also (because it has anything to do with this story other than to purposefully paint her as a nut) a Q-Anon supporter. Apparently the "far right" are upset (nobody else, just them) because the hospital refused to treat her with the "live-stock de-worming medication Ivermectin". Not just Ivermectin. C'mon, it's so obvious. I see these everyday, always the same. There was one yesterday, day before. It's always "anti-vaxxers" die from COVID. That's it. And if you wear a mask (not over your mouth but over your eyes), well that's just puddin'...

PS: By the way, apparently she was 'notorious'...

MSN-what?

I guess it's good to dip your little toe into their cesspool now and then just to see what stink comes up. But you know anything they report will be a lie.

The poor brain-dead zombies around here who fall into an apoplectic fit when Bitchute is mentioned, the way they will look at these garbage propaganda rags as news really confounds me.

At this point it would serve only as entertainment were it not so nefarious...

That “they“ continually lie is EXACTLY the message of the OP.

Or did I miss something?

From what I can tell from the discussion here at ATS, it HAS become largely a conservative/liberal thing, for whatever reason. (And I’m not going to argue what the reason might or might not be).

Liberals seem to fear the virus and not the vaccines. Conservatives claim not to fear the virus very much but are terrified of the vaccines. All the arguments that occur here seem to be based on those two opposing belief systems.

Old news by now. But yes. Their reporting is ridiculous.

Yeah. I consider myself to be moderate. But that term became an epithet some time ago.

As far as vaccination goes, I didn't get vaccinated because I "fear" the virus, but because I don't relish the thought that I might become sick for a week or two. Or that I may have to spend time in the hospital.

Respect would be a better word than fear. As in, I don't fear the ocean but I sure as hell do respect it.

Very, very well stated. That's one thing that I love about ATS. Some people just get on here to argue. I get on here ready to learn. If more people did that we'd compliment each others viewpoints with our own for a greater understanding.

I have noticed on my local news apps, one is abc affiliate, one is a fox affiliate, and the third is a cbs affiliate. Everyday that they actually update their info there is at least one story emphasizing exactly what you described. It’s always about an antivaxer or a Q anon, or something similar who has passed. And it seems that always their last words are “get the vax”. It’s gotten comical at this point. They never follow up or update the stories and they are usually gone after a few hours. Once in a while I’ll see where an outbreak has happened to a group of vaxers, but again there is never a follow up or update.
To put it in perspective a little bit, a local hospital had required all employees to get jabbed. They had almost 100% compliance, but an outbreak of delta hit the hospital employees and patients. It was supposed to be very bad. Never once was there any other info given on the story. They haven’t mentioned it since. That was a month ago, I believe in York county SC. Just south of Charlotte. All three apps I referred to are the local affiliates of Charlotte stations.

Yes, same here.

I have a high respect for Chinese bioweapons.

The message is simple. If you don’t get vaxxed you’re nuts, crazy, a right wing fascist weirdo. They’re trying sooo very hard. Odd really when the vaccines don’t work that well, the protection waning dramatically after only 4-6 months. Hmm.

Yep...exactly. I know a lot of people who look at this thread just think, yeah, we know, you're just re-hashing to obvious, and perhaps that true. But, I still think it's significant enough to point out. The thing that got me today was who they picked and how she was described and shown (walking into a store looking like Zorro, called notorious...laughable). However, it was when they described Ivermectin as the "live-stock dewormer". I mean, c'mon. The people who can't see through that, do you really need to convince them at this point?

But that is what people are buying. They can't, or won't try to, get it by prescription so they use veterinary products. Literally "livestock dewormer."

Right?

Those same brain-dead zombies are literally ruining America! And they can't even see what they're doing! It's like Marvin the Martian said: "They make me sooo angry." But, what can we do about them? How can we stop them? That's the question I would like an answer to. What are we going to do about those people? We can't do nothing and sit back and let them bring down our America.

Edit to add:
And don't think I'm just going to listen to any hare-brained scheme somebody posts on the internet, either. I don't even trust recipes I get off the internet. I have to look up three or four different versions of the same recipe and decide for myself what is the best way to make it.
edit on 18-9-2021 by TrulyColorBlind because: Added an afterthought. It's for all those wonderful Lefties that would jump all over what I said and claim I'm plotting an insurrection or something equally as stoopid. Those people have GOT TO GO!

Pray for the USA
and vote Republican (constantly disappointing but still infinitely better than the alternative)

seriously, it will take Divine intervention to cleanse the body politic of this cancer.

Praying, I'll give you. That could work.

But I mentioned I wasn't falling for any hair-brained schemes. And these days, voting ain't what it used to be.

Sadly its across every form of media.

I posted a picture from the lical paper of "a local hospital" with patients wearing oxygen hoods and the staff in hazmat suits.

A quick reverse image search returned an ebloa outbreak.

Sadly the sheeple will see that and believe it.

I fear covid.

But what actually got me to go out and get vaccinated was the thought of passing it to someone and that person dying. Or taking up a hospital bed.

lol I'm ok with hurting myself but I really don't like hurting other people.

Yes, more media bias. I see the same sort of emotional appeals on the MSN website. My computer is set up like yours I guess.

What we are seeing is indoctrination in action, repetition of the official narrative 24/7, accompanied with the necessary appeals to emotions. The fear porn is incessant.
