Something missed in today's media and hyperactive liberal child exercises in TDS from the Woodward book is the undeniable fact that the book contains an admission of treason by General Mark Milley.
www.rollingstone.com...

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” Milley said on the call. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

Milley also gave Li an assurance he would give a heads-up if an attack ever were to take place. “General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years,” Milley said. “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

According to the book, Li took Milley at his word.

Milley believed another call was necessary by January 8th, 2021, with less than two weeks remaining in the Trump administration. This call came just two days after the insurrection at the Capitol. “We are 100 percent steady,” Milley reassured Li, who believed Trump’s mental state was worsening following the election. “Everything’s fine. But democracy can be sloppy sometimes.”

But Milley’s concerns pushed him to do more than just calm Li. According to the book, Milley even called a meeting of senior officers to go over the formal procedures for launching nuclear weapons. While the president has the authority to give the order, Milley reminded the officers that he himself needed to be involved. “No matter what you’re told, you do the procedure. You do the process,” he said. “And I’m part of that procedure. You’ve got to make sure that the right people are on the net.”

In fact, Milley was so worried about a nuclear attack, he looked each of the officers in the eye and asked them to indicate their agreement, which Milley took as each swearing an “oath.”

What a disgrace to his uniform this pathetic excuse for a serviceman is. How can a US general promising an potentially hostile enemy general that he would "call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise" and warn the enemy of any possible attack by the United States of America beforehand not be considered treason? How in the Hell can this not be considered a grotesque violation of US law as well as total dereliction of both oath and duty by Milley?

Then he goes on to admit that he participated in sedition by forcing those under him to swear loyalty to him above the Commander in Chief and take oaths to refuse any order from that Commander in Chief, the duly authorized President of the United States, unless Milley ordered them to follow the orders.

This man is a legitimate candidate for a firing squad and must face federal charges immediately. This isn't a game and it isn't partisan horse#, he literally is confessing to treason and sedition while sitting as the acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

What a sad end to a Marine, corrupted by the dark side.

He failed his oath when he thought he was upholding it.

Well, pretty speechless. If true, something should be done. I'm sure there will be no investigation and nothing will be done. Pretty status quo for the MIC.

Had Trump know about this, he should have fired Milley. I always felt that the Generals and the intelligence community were behind the impeachment process. Hell yes it was an attempted coup.

I work with a 62 year old grunt. Im looking forward to hearing his take on this. i don't expect him to say many words fit for the public.

So what do we do? Wait for vets to get sick of it and take matters into their own hands? We are just about there.

My question would be, "Why hasn't he been charged with treason and sedition?" Unless of course it is the plan of the entire Biden crime family to hand over the US to the Chinese, in which case he wouldn't be going against the government, just all the citizens.

The time is coming, saddle up MF's.... "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure," Jefferson wrote in a letter to William S. Smith, a diplomatic official in London, on November 13, 1787.

Cheers - Dave

We're learning that everybody in charge this year is thumbing their nose at the public.

Not afraid to hide what they're doing, what they've said, or even trying to put a good spin on it.

i.e...Psaki.. that's right, we're not vaccinating illegal immigrants that come into our country. So what!?

They are giving everybody in America the middle finger, and do not care.

A top grade effort to protect treason, jimmy.

Well done.

That you totally disregard the absolute criminality of the act, well, that's par for the course, isn't it?

The general who admonished people for sedition and insurrection appears to be guilty of the same. I wish I was shocked.

But you trust the stuttering idiot Biden?

The dumbass couldn’t even pull off a withdrawal in Afghanistan without getting people killed.

He is the laughing stock of the world because of his emasculated weakness.

You would have to be real simple to think Trump was going to nuke someone……wait…you guys are simple.

I think the executive needs to be much more transparent so we dont have to rely on these leaks or OpEds, with obvious exceptions.

Perhaps the office of the president or any political figure should be a 24hr live stream. I think its a high price that is fair for the power of the office.

Lets turn it into reality TV so we can have the unfiltered truth. I know many citizens would be glued to the TV.

Now this may not be the same situation, and it reads like it may not be, but, did we not warn Syria of incoming airstrikes a few years ago? Possibly with the permission of the president? I don;t think it is precedent setting notifying an enemy of incoming, but without the blessing of the President, that probably would be.

But I did ask in another thread, What if.... What if Trump ,or any other president was so mad at at losing an election or spilling a drink on his favorite socks, that he said "F it, carpet bomb Afghanistan, or China or Epstiens island. A direct order from the commander in chief of the armed forces. What safeguards are in place? Seriously.

This is a US General and Chairman of the JCoS, not some new recruit nor underling....imagine what he has done to the rest of the armed forces at this point.

What a disgrace.

I wonder if president Trump knew this was happening? There had to be people further down the ranks who were concerned and let him know about it. Perhaps he said screw it, I'm out of here in 45 days anyway?

The problem is his boss, the commander-in-chief, is complicit... Demented, and everyone is afraid of him because he screams and curses at them.

lol, well arent you up on a lofty perch. Exactly as you said, this is a senior military figure, I have a feeling that his honor and integrity might be more pure than many of ours.

It is the duty and responsibility of every officer to not follow illegal orders. It is not an invitation to subvert the chain of command. You can ignore an order to launch for no reason. You cannot ignore an order of retaliation strikes. You do not have to be informed that is is a retaliatory strike.

Conspiring with foreign counterparts...major no no. As the Head of the Joint Chiefs, zero excuse outside of major brain damage for not following that general order.
