It seems theres a lot of mismatched fights happening lately...

Tyson is one thing... Hes sort of a freak of nature, built to fight...

Holyfield just got KO'd by Vitor Belfor... Holyfield always leads with his head so the uppercut was his worst enemy... but that was a long time ago...

probably shouldn't have happened... In his prime holyfield would have KO'd belfor in the first round, but hes old, and IF you've actually seen a recent interview with him... hes not really all there anymore...

AND....Its a damn good thing he didn't fight Tyson like he apparently wanted to... Tyson may have killed him from what i just saw...

Tito ortiz vs anderson Silva... total mismatch... Tito hasn't fought in ages... and he wasn't ever a boxer... he was a wrestler...

IF you watch that so called fight... he barely seemed to remember how to throw a punch... whereas Silva is still pretty nimble and can still swing em... also a good thing this wasn't an MMA fight...

I love to see the older fighters coming back to the ring... but they're just looking for money...

Someone is gonna get hurt bad...

The Granddad fights are ridiculous and are making a joke out of boxing but while people are paying to see them and the old blokes are getting big paychecks to do them they will continue .... until an old bloke dies in the ring.

Boxing in general has become more about the money than the sport with guaranteed rematches and 3 fight deals , the much anticipated fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been interrupted by such a deal , there's hope it will happen next Summer but that fight too has a guaranteed rematch tied to it.

Boxing aint what it used to be.

Like you said someone is going to get hurt. For all the hype Tyson was finished 15 years ago, his legs just don’t carry him around the ring like they used to. Still explosive and vicious but if you watch him pivoting his knees aren’t up to it.

I was hoping for Tito/Silva to last a few rounds, but the writing was on the wall. Holyfield definitely shouldn’t be fighting anymore…

But at least it was something to watch since UFC took a week off.
