I posted my reply before I read any others lol.

Same here

I spent a lot of time in weird places growing up... greyhound bus stations that only had Burger King Restaurants, truck stops full of all kinds of humanity and quite a few rest stops along the way. I never recall seeing anyone touch those things

The good stops were the ones with the air dryers

Well great, you just let all the Millennials in on our secret! What's next? You going to teach them
how to decode cursive?

... indeed I do know and my Pop had one in the filling' station he owned during the time when gas was 45 cents a gallon.

I don't even want to imagine what 10 cent hot dogs are made of

Those .10 cent hotdogs were probably a whole lot better than the ones made today and cost 10 times as much! I remember when I lived in Safford, Arizona in the early 1970's - there was this place called "Frank's Villa" and he sold hotdogs like 10 for a dollar. My family and the relatives we had living with us at the time would load up in the car and get $5 worth of hotdogs on Friday nights. Cheap eating. Good times indeed!

Yes my mom loved it, a cheap way to feed all us brats. I do remember they tasted great and I don't like hot dogs.
It was very rare for us to eat out so anything different was a treat.

I think your missing the parallel I was trying to draw that it’s no more dirty then any other regular interaction we have every day many times even tho at first it seems gross.

Saw this the other day online and just laughed.
Boy how times have changed. I was curious so read up on them, they actually are
not as bad as you might think they are.

Can you imagine the kids these days using them?

USED one?! Hell, I used to LICK those things!

I know, right?! LOL

great post! Haven’t seen one of THOSE in a while. Never understood how those could be sanitary. I used to wash my hands and wipe ‘em on my jeans rather than use one of those revolving Petri dishes.

I haven't seen on of those in years! If memory serves, I think the last one I saw was back in FL, I want to say in a restaurant bathroom. Might have been one of the pool/billiards halls, though.

Clearly it's an exercise treadmill for acrobats doing horizontal handstands.

I never understood why people dried their clean hands on a big skid-marked rotating cloth.

Your spouse's shirt also works upon exiting the throne hall. Hubs didn't think it was as funny as I did, though, so prank at your own risk.

Not a big deal........pull down on the cloth towel to get to the clean part......then wash your hands !

I'm sure that here in the UK they had a coloured band that only appeared towards to end of the towel so they knew it was ready for changing.

30 years of drink and drugs between then and now could mean I'm imagining it though.
