Im a non binary person

So this happened today.

My wife and I took our 6 year grandson to the park and my grandson was spinning the ferris wheel toy , no one was on it he just likes to spin it.

Well another little girl came up about the same age maybe a year older, so she was about 7 and she wanted to get on.

So my wife says to our grandson "stop spinning it she wants to get on" well the little girl with an attitude says I am not a SHE. So my wife thinking she mistook a boy with long hair for a girl and the boy was offended said "oh Im so sry he wants to get on "

Again the little 7 year old girl with an attitude says I am not a he either , I am a non binary person and walked away towards what we assume were her parents.

This was tops a 7 year old girl WTF are they doing to our children ?

Every day I feel more righteous and justified in my wife and my decision to homeschool our children for the past 5 years.

When I was 7, I wanted to be a spy like James Bond.

When my son was little he said he was Spiderman.

Refused to answer to anything else or wear anything but the outfit.

Mission accomplished. It was never about getting on the Ferris wheel toy. It was a fresh opportunity to be offended and victimized. Most people will address you anyway that you like if you give them a chance. It appears that wasn't what was wanted.

What's never mentioned in these encounters is that this is how the English language functions. It's impolite to point at someone and say "that thing" or "it" and calling someone Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla or Rafaella Gabriela Sarsaparilla over and over again really wears you down.



If you want to be called something specific, a simple "My name is..." would work, Unless your name is Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla of course.

I been saying for years now that "it" seems to be very non-binary.

So by identifying as non binary it creates a binary system of those who identify as binary and those who do not.

There is no escape from the binary….or your genitals.

They feels more comfortable to me as a non-gendered word when referring to people. It feels like something that isn't a person. "It wants a pizza". "They want a pizza."
