to which the exception for THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER is in almost all (including this) bill.
If (in this hypothetical example) in say 4 months the mother CAN PROVE that their health is in danger.. then abortion is legal.

but that isnt the issue because ITS COVERED.. its just used (presuming not by you) as the "shield" to hide behind in wanting abortion ON DEMAND/ANY REASON/ANY TIME...

people forget that most of the exceptions they throw out there ARE ALREADY APPOROVED..

with the case if one feels so strongly for it then take them ON YOUR TIME/DIME to a boarder state where its legal for any reason.

so in the end your claim is already covered.

Mostly leftists agree with abortion. These are the same idiots that claim the right are nazis, when in reality it is them whom to this day are furthering the goal of a real nazi and her friends. Margaret Sanger was a nazi, she wanted race purity and often spoke about it. Even when you show this to the pro-abortion crowd, they still support it even though almost 80% of abortion clinics are found to these days in minority neighborhood, and murder mostly minority kids.

Alot can happen during a pregnancy before it becomes a medical emergency that is endangering the life of the mother. Alot of pain, alot of suffering, and damage.
Women have survived only to be permanently blind, or on dialysis the rest of their lives. Heck, those oh so precious religious freedoms have permitted some hospitals to prolong the suffering of women having miscarriages till sepsis is present and endangering their lives. And the sick thing about that is that they knew the baby would be lost from the start. So now, all the hospitals in tx are required by law to run as if they have the same religious view as these hospitals... to wait around till the problem festers to the point where it will kill the women if they don't react?

No, just no.

Umm, ya, the first paragraph in that article mentions that these are voluntary, we are sterializingvpeople today as long as they voluntarily consent..
I have never run across anything that indicates sanger was forcing anyone into anything. While others were out there talking the politicians into secretly and forcibly sterilizing those they saw as unfit to be parents..(read blacks and native americans, the disabled and feeble minded) sanger seems to have taken a different route. She opened clinics, taught women how to avoid pregnancies, never force anyone into her clinics and what the women did with what they learned was up to them. And while they legally fought giving women that knowledge and power, laws were written that allowed the forced and secret sterilization of thousands.

As I posted above, a point that you apparently missed, they don't have 6 weeks to "make the call". At best, they have 2 weeks. 2 weeks to get an appointment, undergo an exam, get an appointment and submit to "counselling" and then wait at least 24 hours before they can have the procedure.

Most people that advocate for "life" are against forcing the mother to rush a decision. So this law backfires in that respect.



The issue with your 'My body my choice' is that its never applied equally. When she choose to have the kid. "Its her choice" and celebrated for it.

If the males not ready, maybe finances or age, he gets villainized as a dead beat dad or a sex fiend that want the fun but no responsibility. He than gets stuck with 18 years of financial support.

Responsivity should be on both of them.

If he wants the kid and willing to fully support it and take it in. But the woman wants abortion, you cut off the males choice. (Many cases like this where the woman gets an abortion, without saying anything and they end up in court).

If you ask the woman to get on the pill, they than say it makes them sick (understandable to some extent). If a guy wears a condom "its not 100% effect, what if it breaks etc etc etc)". The majority do not want solutions. It's being used as a contraceptive by most.

We even have movie stars bragging about abortions and how 'liberated they are' or wishing they would get one.

Read through the thread.. women aren't being portrayed too nicely. Murderers, whores, selfish, irresponsible.
But if he is a deadbeat dad, is he paying the child support? I know it is harder now to evade the child support but I imagine there is plenty of men who manage to. I am pretty sure it is easier than dropping the fetus off at the local daycare center so you can get a break from the side effects of pregnancy, not even a short break so you can safely carry your two year old toddler away from the dangerous situation they might have gotten themselves in.
And quite frankly, I wonder if we might end up with more abortions if men did have the final say through financial coercion.

Most women aren't holding up banners in celebrating their abortions.
Most women are not having abortion in the late stages of a prrgnancy.
Most women who have abortions aren't whoring around.
Not all women ignore the wishes of their mate.

But some seem to feel that these thing are so important to the discussion they bring them up over and over. So much that one might thing that they are a description of all, or at least the majority.... enough so that we can base our decisions as far as how we regulate abortions at least..


The number of late term abortions is roughly around the same range as the number of abortions that involve health issues with either the mother or fetus..
You can't go on and make out like late term abortions are such a big deal but then turn around and dismiss the health issues because you believe that most women are using abortion as a birth control method.

And, I am sorry, but when it comes to those health issues...
It is her body her choice!
To claim that you should have the final say is like saying that that little pittance that most men pay in child support should give them the right to possibly condemn a women to a horrible and painful death if the pregnancy takes a turn for the worse.

Social stigma is not the purview of the Supreme Court. Sure, people judge dead beat dads. But not as much as they judge "impure" women, who are stigmatized just for having sex. A sexually active woman's value is perceived as having been soiled, let alone how society isolates and shames women who seek and have abortions.

And, if your main problem with Roe V Wade is that it doesn't address a man's choice, this Texas ban pretty much forces men into fatherhood as much as it forces women to give birth.

It's true, child support, custody and parental rights aren't addressed in Roe V Wade. They're addressed and enforced by the individual states. Overturning Roe V wade isn't going to change that one tiny bit.

If you want to kill a kid in the 47th trimester, go nuts. I've said it before, abortion is between the mother and God, and a belief in God is not required. I don't live in Texas, and cannot get pregnant. I was born without a uterus. And the bounty thing is stupid. But I still think abortion is murder. But for you, kill em all, and let God sort em out, amirite!
