So why couldn't America do it for its own people. Did Joe just want to piss off more Americans?

Actually, I did catch the triple 7. The Japan Self-Defense Forces Boeing 777 was making a few trips. I even posted it a few days ago.

You can see it here leaving Kabul headed south.

There were aircraft from a few countries evacuating their citizens and picked up some refugees too.

Japan's efforts were not un noticed.

Who says that we haven't?

By the time the last C-17 took off from Kabul on Monday, 120,000 Americans, Afghans and other allies had been moved out of the city, according to the White House, all without a major aircraft mishap or accident, which is an achievement all its own considering the crowded airspace and limited air traffic control over Kabul.

Air Force pilots and crew executed a Herculean task of moving all those people out of Afghanistan. They should be commended for the incredible job they did.

The real questing is why was japan in Afghanistan to begin with? I worked as a contractor in Iraq and we did some personal security details for Japanese business people there. Seemed odd to me. I assume they're just there to extract resources.
