Anti-vaxx police officer who had been taking horse worm medicine dies from Covid

A police officer who frequently voiced anti-vaccine sentiments and took horse dewormer in a misguided attempt to stave off the coronavirus has died from Covid-19.

Captain Joe Manning, 57, of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in Georgia died on Wednesday due to complications from Covid-19, according to local broadcaster WSAV.

It is unfortunate we find ourselves in a situation where there is very little trust on the prescribed options to prevent/mitigate COVID. There has also been a lot of resistance to other potential prophylactic medications. All this leading to people to take and promote dangerous alternatives.

This is just another example.

MSM has no problems posting news articles for their sensational to push the vax vaccination. Because that's what the over all point of the article is.

I think it's safe to say he died of a pre-existing condition WITH covid.....there was nothing healthy about that guy.

Notice the subtle suggestion of using tthe term antivaxx...as to associate the wndows12 juice with the normal tested vaccines.

COVID causes bloodclots. Tens of thousands even millions worldwide have died or are damaged for life from the virus.

over weight people need to take a lot more vitamin d because it is fat soluble.

I think the only blamed which can be apportioned is to the fool which took horse worm medicine, whether you are pro vaxx or anti vaxx there should still be an understanding about taking medicines which are for horses and not humans. Although idiots on youtube took tide pods just for clicks or likes.

I disagree, stats do show that the vacced have much reduced symptoms, and that is what it is all about. If you get the virus it is no longer new to your system and the body can attack it quicker and better. It is about as simple as that...

Well…he would be busy but that’s it.

"You are not a horse. You are not a cow," the FDA posted on Twitter. "Seriously y'all. Stop it."

This tweet from the FDA was reprehensible for the simple fact that a government agency used y'all in a condescending fashion.

The FDA noted that Ivermectin meant for humans is not interchangeable with the version intended for animals.

This is a somewhat dishonest line. Certain brands of ivermectin intended for animals do have additional ingredients added, but base animal ivermectin is chemically identical to human ivermectin. The same goes for fish / bird sulfa otherwise known as Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim. Chemically identical to the form prescribed to humans, just as effective, and a fraction of the cost.

THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. This is an observation. The for profit medical and pharmaceutical industries will always try to achieve maximum profits in lieu of inexpensive compounds with proven track records.

On topic: may Captain Manning rest in peace. It sounds like he was an important member of law enforcement and an important member of his community. Condolences to his family and friends. It's unfortunate he put his faith into ivermectin alone. Very risky decision to make.

Final thought: that Independent article is very biased. Shame that people are so determined to twist things into an us vs. them situation. The media seems to only know how to gaslight these days.
