Did ATS get this letter from congress investigating Jan 6th

Congressional panel investigating Jan. 6 insurrection demands records from Facebook, Twitter, other tech firms

So congress has demanded records from social media companies about Jan 6th
Twitter FB google instagram parler and all the big ones , But gab and clouthub have also been sent the letter and a slew of others.

So do you think ATS got the letter ? and will ATS comply? Might be time to stop posting .

Doubt ATS got anything...

And it's just more of the same witch hunt and invasion of privacy....nothing to see here. Just some government over reach and working with media giants to spy on American citizens is all....no worries.

I highly doubt it.

I assume they already have plenty of analysts / agents reading these boards daily and flagging people. I mean, get real, this is technically a conspiracy site and a treasure trove of information on what they consider the "fringe" element of society. I am sure this place was actively monitored on day one.

You don't have to requisition what you already have.

Private entities and individuals (non-government) can LEGALLY take Congressional subpoenas and hang them on the wall as keep-sakes, or line the bird's cage with them, or send them back with a big "LOL" written on the cover page.

Because they can misconstrue whatever you have to say. Especially if you are a Trump supporter.

The letter was sent to Pro Trump sites .

This is a discussion forum. Non-Trump supporters post here as well. This isn't a "Trump website."

I worry they will call people terrorist for supporting Trump or in a few more months for anti vax talk

That talk has already started.

It's possible. I usually stay away from the "Q" threads, but if there was a member posting something that aroused suspicions, I suppose ATS cold have gotten a letter asking admin to "unmask" that member.

A judge recently ruled that The Daily KOS, a left leaning site not unlike ATS, had to unmask, or reveal whatever they knew about a poster's identity. The Daily KOS appealed that ruling, and as far as I know it's still in the courts.

I remember when the gossip was ATS was the CIA.

Don't think ATS has a large enough footprint to warrant a look. There are considerably more threatening sites than Above Top Secret.

I would imagine it's on all the special lists.

Aside from the obvious there was a member years ago who went postal loco wasn't there, caused a lot of aggro I think but was before my time.
