Back in June I bought five tickets for the august 9th cubs brewers game.
Almost $600
Good seats ..

Game day rolls around and it's a beautiful day until about 6 o'clock.. then rain and lightening.
Game time is 7:05.....
9:00 the game is cancelled.

A double header is played the next afternoon which I could not attend.
So I call about a refund.
Cubs policy is no refund.
It's bad enough they traded all their good players a month after I bought tickets.

I should have bought hookers and crack!
At least those are reliable.

#### the cubs!
#### MLB!

Your league deserves to die if this is how you treat fans.

Many teams offer and exchange for upcoming games this season and in some cases next season. I don't know of any team that offers a straight refund.

Going to a Braves game tonight and can't believe they are charging $90 per ticket. Probably the last event I attend as concerts, games, shows, etc. are way too expensive anymore, then add a dinner before and parking and two people are into the evening for at least $400. I don't know how a family with two or three kids does anything anymore.

That's on the Cubs then, the Yankees will give you options of going to the make up date or exchanging them for a different game.

I would be happy with that option.
Hell, anything would be better

Sorry to here this, but I swear to goodness I've heard just this very rant recently on the boards.

Good god $600.00 for tickets!!!! Are the Cubs still riding high on their World Series win?

If you would have only done this and purchased on a Laptop... Russians would so own you.

For $600.00 I could get all of the LEFT FIELD LOONIES section at PNC Park
However I wouldn't pay $6 for any seat.

I'll rant with you as Robert Nutting tends to get great ball players, 0nly to trade them off😣.

God bless the Pittsburgh Pirates Football Team,

Doesn’t surprise me. Not totally applicable but related, my sister bought a couple ACL tickets a few months ago. Spent $300 each on them. NOW, they are REQUIRING the vaccine to attend.

Here’s the clincher, they also won’t give her a refund. It’s either, get the vax and get to go, or don’t get the vax and lose all your money.

Crock of sh!t!!!

Don't worry...they probably wouldn't have made any touchdowns, anyway.

Anybody who's - excuse me being frank and perhaps excessively rude - gullible enoughto pay as much as has been mentioned in this thread for tickets to a damn ballgame ... Well, I have no pity if you get stiffed.
