There is apparently some confusion, or mystery, as to where the gain of function Furin cleavage sites for c19 came from.  Take this article for example:
www.news-medical.net...

And this one here, which states:
"The SARS-CoV-2 high infectivity is due to the functional polybasic furin cleavage site in the S protein. How it was acquired is unknown.".
www.preprints.org...

As it turns out, Furin cleavage sites were added, as gain of function, to SAR-CoV-1 back in 2009.  This was done to allow Trypsin independent cell-cell fusion.
"We also introduced a furin cleavage site at both the S2' cleavage site within S2 793-KPTKR-797 (S2'), as well as at the junction of S1 and S2. Introduction of a furin cleavage site at the S2' position allowed trypsin-independent cell-cell fusion, which was strongly increased by the presence of a second furin cleavage site at the S1-S2 position.".
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

Not much of a mystery if you ask me.

Also, there has been some talk and debate as to whether previous c19 infection infers immunity.  The study linked to below found that it does in hamsters (a suitable analog for entry site) , and also limits transmission.
I will add that the virus has never been isolated and does not exist outside of a lab or vaccine.  Nonetheless, herd immunity would have been reached this past April, and this would mean that c19 measures are all unnecessary and represent oppression:
"Altogether, these results show that SARS-CoV-2 infection induces protective immunity that not only prevents re-exposure but also limits transmission in hamsters.".
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...
The hamsters, by the way, were inoculated with nasal swabs, which is what they use for covid test specimen collection. They can also inoculate graphene through this route.

An interesting thing that you can do, is to go to a research site, like pubmed, and search for the scientists from various studies.  You'll get a list of other projects they worked on, and will see a lot of overlap with subjects like hydrogels, biosensors, and graphine oxide.  Here's a search using scientist Shufeng  Liu:
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...
You can see how they use innocuous reasoning to get tax money and grants, but then the data gets used against the people.  What a scam.

S & F for mentioning "Cleavage".

There's one in every crowd, isn't there?

They created it
They released it
Humanity manifested it
Now we have to deal with it
Connect with source
Overcome all fears
There is only energy frequency and vibration
There are 2 forces pulling at humanity, one is love and the other is fear.
Choose wisely

Well put. There's no progress in fear.

I keep bringing up SARS-CoV-1, and I'm not quite sure people are actually looking into it. The vaccines they developed for SARS back then made things worse as well.

Yes, 3 pandemics in 17 years., and all right after coronavirus research began. Another unusual coincidence that we're supposed to believe.
