Help removing mainstream news from youtube search results

Starting to get sick of excluding certain channels with a hyphen. If you didn't know, you can manually exclude channels from your search results by doing -CNN -MSNBC.
For example your search is "Biden screwed Afghanistan -CNN -MSNBC -FOX".

Problem is you have to do this with every search and there are hundreds of mainstream channels on youtube now.
Does anyone know of a good browser extension or a better workaround to this issue? Thanks

Do a regular search of what you want search by most popular.

Biden Screwed Afghanistan- press enter, use the little filter icon thing and search by rating from the bottom right of teh drop down menu on a destkop.

You should have more favorable results, you weren't really specific though.

I don't use my mobile for this kind of stuff.

Don't use Ytube!

They ban the real news.

Look for other news aggregators.

Don't use Google if you are after factual information.

Yeah sorry, should have been a little more specific. I want to be able to block any mainstream news channel from even showing up in my search results. I get results from news outlets for things that are completely irrelevant to my searches half the time. I do use desktop, so it should be easier to do. I've tried a few different browser extensions but they seem to be outdated and don't work correctly.

I do, but youtube still dominates when it comes to content. There is still plenty of great channels and videos you can find on just about anything, but the problem is you have to work harder and filter through all this bs..

There are userscripts that work with like greasemonkey and other scripting add-ons for Firefox that will let you create a block list for yt accounts, eliminating them from your search results, but they gobble up a lot of RAM.

there's a hole in the market. An app that will share whatever you want on all platforms with one click. Including YT, FB and TW. Informations will leak through. This way people will stop being lost in multitudes of platforms. You wont share, search and post on one platform. They'll be just a part of an oracle as they should be. A monopoly of Yoogle will be a thing of the past.

People live in two alternate realities. Now it's google filtering informations for your mainstream, lefty brain so that you dont have to deal with unpleasant truth and accidentaly being red-pilled.

This thing could be used for backup and publishing on all platforms including mainstream.

Click the 3 little dots at the bottom right of any vid in your feed. There's a dropdown that will appear so click 'hide'

Use odysee.com... instead of youtube. Trust me you will like it a lot and a lot better than YT.

Absolutely. Those who provide traffic to these Fascist websites are part of the problem. They get revenue from activity, clicks, ad views. Traffic brings higher ad prices. These totalitarian platforms need to be wholly boycotted, or people are just joined to the enemies of us all, even making them more powerful, by patronizing them.

Personally, I have no respect for anybody that won't give up their conveniences or play things, to do what's morally right and right for their nation, that won't resist evil. Such people are part of, really are, the problem. There's a Bible principle that, if you assent to and associate with evil, you are party to that evil, literally, an evildoer, yourself:

People, you need to decide who you are going to serve. Period. You cannot serve two masters.

I would like to add this, too, speaking to you of purported faith. It is not going to fly with God that you've lived with one foot in hell. This is serious, serious business. Oh for sure. It interfaced is similar to YT but better. It uses blockchains so nothing can be deleted or censored and there is no algorithm that prefers certain channels based on politics like on YT. Your main feed is also not flooded with things forced on you or with anything you watch or follow. It is in every way better than YT. You're welcome

It’s MSM TUBE

Totally ruined the platform in regular on bitchute and rumble odyssey now they’re far better but less content HOWEVER you know you can find the videos you’re actually looking for on those with YouTube you get the usual spoon fed BS the sheep consume

Remember who owns Google, YouTube...they are the same...hard to deciminate when the companies own the same things.

Google is YouTube...of course it's restricted. It's it-self.

Only we don't get it.

Go to duckduckgo...or Opera...or...anywhere but Google-Youtube, Android, Microsoft...they like own each other.

It's wacked search results of companies in companies in products we "think" we "own".

And never Wiki anything. It's still and always...user generated. You can put in anything.

I mean, you kind of can. I already use a VPN, duckduckgo, ublock origin and HTTPS everywhere. Its about as private as you can get while still being convenient. I mean you could go the torbrowser route as well.

Duckduckgo is good, but stay away from Opera. It is owned by china. Firefox has been a sellout now for a while too.

My main objective is to browse youtube without getting bombarded with msm channels, which can easily be done. I was just hoping some members here knew of an extension they have experience with.

For anyone interested, I found a browser extension called BlockTube. You can block videos, channels, and comments using it. I am currently going through and blocking all MSM channels I can. It seems to be working as intended so far. No more MSM content filling up my search results.

If you would like I can post a list of all the channels later on when I get a chance.
