The validity of critical race theory as a doctrine is brought into question given the fact that the Chinese government has used the topic for their propaganda fodder.
A September 2020 video from the China Global Television Network (CGTN) was rediscovered by Mythinformed, and shared widely.
The Chinese propaganda video opens up by saying racism is a generational thing, with parents being responsible with teaching their kids to not be racist.
The narrator urges parents to use "daily life and the news" as examples. The CGTN cartoon then uses George Floyd to imply Derek Chauvin killed him for being black.

Critical Race Theory is incompatible with Marxism.
Still, why bother with details.

That part is true. Don't rely on school.
There are open discriminations against minorities in China with little to no retributions at all: Han people in my hometown look down minority people from my mom’s county. Han people openly use the race slurs against my mom’s race: they view my mom’s race as dirty and less-intelligent.
My grandma is a perfect example: two of her sons married minority races (My dad and my uncle.
She praised Han’s smart heritage because my siblings were doing well at school because my dad is Han.
However, she cursed my aunt’s minority race heritage as stupid when her children were doing bad at school.
Don’t get me wrong: my grandma was very good to me. But she is a racist.
